Blackberry Apple Pie

Reviewed: May 13, 2012
Mine turned a little soupy, and I felt it a little bit lacking. Still tasted good, but not great. I may try again with a crumble topping, and add some cinnamon. It has potential to be a really great pie, but I think I may have to doctor it up a bit.

Grilled Sea Bass

Reviewed: May 12, 2012
Awesome! I can't believe anyone gave this low reviews. I've lived in various places, and now live in New Mexico. Fresh seafood is hard to come by in these parts. My husband and I finally caved and ordered some fresh fish from alwaysfreshfish.com. When it arrived, I was so excited to have something fresh and delicious. I was not disappointed. My husband and I both loved every single bite. Even my 3 year old loved it. I did double the spices for more taste, and we broiled it in the oven on low rather than grilling. Super easy to make, but it took an additional 7 minutes to get it cooked properly in the oven. I also covered it with foil for the last seven minutes to keep it from browning too much. Chilean Sea Bass was AMAZING!!! Melted in our mouth like butter. Mmmmm!

Vanilla Ice Cream III

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2008
We made this recipe for the 4th of July, and it was excellent. I have a family recipe, but my hubby thinks it is way too sweet. So we decided to try this recipe, and it was much better. The only thing I would change is add a smidgen more sugar. It was not quite as sweet as I would like, but it is a great median from our ultra sweet family recipe. I also like that there are no raw eggs in this recipe. I'm expecting, so I needed a recipe that was healthy for me and baby. This definitely did the trick.

Teriyaki Tuna

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2007
Very easy and very good. My husband and I ate this with steamed vegetables, and used the leftover teriyaki sauce to pour over the them. I also did not put any salt on the tuna, and they did not need it after the sauce. Thanks for the yummy recipe.

Shrimp Tetrazzini

Wasn't a big fan of the sherry, but we're gonna try it again without or with less. We'll see if we can doctor it up a little bit to our taste buds. The shrimp were pretty good though.

Candied Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2006
WONDERFUL!! I love anything with a lot of flavor, and this was great. I was a little bit concerned that it would be too sweet for me, but it was perfect. My husband was shocked at the amount of taste. He asked to look at the recipe, and see what all was in it cause he thought it was so good. He wanted seconds, but there were none. Needless to say, we've made it several times since.

Six Spice Maple Cornish Hens

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2006
This has got to be the most flavor bursting cornish hen recipe I've ever had. It had so much taste to it, and so many different flavors. My husband and I loved this. The syrup kind of glazes the whole hen. This was positively wonderful! I am constantly having to tell my husband to wait a while before we have it again, because he wants to make it every other day!

Husband and I really enjoyed this. Had great flavor, and was easy to prepare. Anytime my husband gets to use the grill he's happy. Had a nice glaze when it came off the grill. Nice and juicy...a treat for your tastebuds.

Excellent. The perfect seasonings...I often find recipes like this are too oily, but this was perfect. Me and my husband loved it and it's now a dinner favorite.

This is absolutely wonderful! My husband and I eat salmon at least once a week, so sometimes it gets a bit bland. But this was bursting with flavor, and we were pleasantly surprised!!! If you like salmon, you'll love this!

My husband and I thought this was very salty. Not our favorite, but if you like salty foods then you may really enjoy. We just prefer a more creamy salmon spread.

Onion Dijon Crusted Catfish

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2006
This is okay. My family eats a lot of fish. We try to stay away from red meat, so we're always looking for new fish/shrimp/chicken recipes. We've added this to our list for variety, but it isn't the best catfish we've ever had. This simply decent.
