go easy on the cayenne pepper if you want less of a kick. i doubled the amount of milk for a more soupy texture.

Taste is good if not great, however texture was on the runny side. Not firm like I was hoping. I added ham but I don't think that was the problem. Crust on bottom was soggy and no amount of extra oven time was going to firm the thing up.

Potato Leek Soup III

Delicious! Didn't use yukons but tasted great anyway. I would probably use less butter next time. Finished product was swimming with 1/4" of butter on top.

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies III

so delicious. Not too oatmeal-y. Husband who doesn't like oatmeal cookies, likes these because you can't tell there is oatmeal in them (but I think it cuts the sweetness and adds health benefits). The only small complaint is that the batter tends to be pretty dry and therefore, difficult to get on cookie sheet in anything better than clumps that you form together with your hand. And mine didn't fall, just stayed big clumps. Delicious nonetheless!

Pollo Fajitas

very good as leftovers to let the flavors meld together. fresh from the skillet was good too, but just too fresh--sounds funny, but true. make enough for leftovers! we also used chicken as well as filet mignon. get the most tender steak possible for good results.
