Angel Hair Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2009
This is an excellent recipe! I bought a shrimp ring and was looking for recipes to try. I'm not a fan of angel hair pasta, so I used egg noodles. Also, I did not have green onions, so I used a regular white onion and I used ranch dressing from a packet. I chopped up the shrimp, a small white onion and I cooked them together with a pat of butter for about 4 minutes. I do recommend letting it set in the fridge for at least 30 mins. Thank you for the inspiration! :)

Easy Cheese Ball II

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2009
This recipe is absolutely fantastic!! I was looking for something simple to snack on and I had all of the ingredients on hand. I must admit I though the ingredients without the pecans were a bit salty which concerned me, but after I rolled the pecans on the ball it was GREAT! I do recommend letting the cheese balls "set" in the fridge for at least a day because it tastes much better. I will definitely serve this the next time I entertain. Thank you!!

Restaurant Style Chicken Nachos

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2008
These are so good! I made it for a football game, but they didn't last past the opening kick! lol I made a few modifications though. I omitted salsa and tomatoes, taco seasoning was sprinked over the finished nachos (TERRIFIC FOR SEASONING!), fresh cut chives was "folded" into sour cream and I added extra onion and green onion. YUM! :) It was a big hit! :)

Claire's Yummy Crepes

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2008
If I could this recipe a rating higher than 5, I would. I made apple crepes (with fried chopped apples) highly recommend adding vanilla and cinnamon like some of the other readers suggested. I mixed in dark brown sugar and a little butter with the apples and topped it with cool whip. So good!!!! The crepe is good enough to eat alone! lol This will be a regular at my dinner table. Thank you so much Claire! :)

Baked Potato Skins

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2007
These are really good! I did something a little different. I use really big potatoes and it take a long time in the oven. So I pop 2 big potatoes in the microwave for 10 mins., slice them in half put the toppings on them after they are out the microwave (except the sour cream) and place then in the toaster over at 400 degrees for 3 mins. Taste just as good, but uses less energy. :)

Easy Peach Crisp II

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2007
Wow! This is incrediable! I had a craving for peach cobbler, but I had everything except milk. I search for a recipe that did not list milk as an ingredient (didn't think that was possible) and I found this one! I must admit I was doubtful this would work, but boy was I wrong! I followed the directions as listed except I put a little sugar and cinnamon on top. I would not recommend that because it came out too sweet - but it was still edible. I can't wait to make this for the Hoildays! Thank you! :)

Ranch Dipped Chicken Fingers

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2007
These are sooo good! I added a little parmesan cheese to the bread crumbs and I cook them in the toaster over (it was a hot summer day) for 25 mins at 350 degrees and I did not have to turn them over! I also added a touch of salt and fresh ground pepper. It was very simple and easy to prepare and my fiance loved it! I will definately add this to our dinner rotation. Thank you for this recipe!

World's Best Key Lime Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2007
EXCELLENT! I would change a thing! However I cut the recipe in half and it was enough to fill a 9 inch shortbread pie crust. Next time I will try adding a touch more lime for the bitter taste. My fiance LOVED it and I will be baking more!

Berry Burst Sorbet

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2007
This recipe is great! The texture and the taste was wonderful. I LOVE rasberry sorbet so instead of blackberries and blueberries, I only used raspberries. Also I used regular white sugar. I also used heavy whipped cream, but for my next batch I am going to omit it for more of a sorbet taste.

Wonton Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2006
This recipe was absolutely fantasic. I recently moved to a new town and could not find a Chinese Resturant with Wonton Soup that I liked so I decided to try making my own! I made the Wonton Wrappers (listed on this site) and I substituted the Chinese rice wine with vinegar, and I used chicken broth and ground pork. There was a lot of meat left over so I will put it in the freezer for my next soup!
