Spicy Pretzels

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2012
Always a hit. I have made these many times, but I substitute garlic powder for garlic salt, and I add fresh grated Parmesan after mixing in the bag. I allow them to marinate for a few days, flipping the bag at least every day. That way, I can make them days before I need them. I also make one batch with double the cayenne for those who like them spicier.

Robbi's M&M Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2011
I would not have added as much salt as this recipe called for, but with all the reviews, I decided to keep the recipe as written. These were a HUGE hit. I thought they were too salty, but no one else noticed. Apparently the sweet/salty thing works.

Ranch Oyster Crackers

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2007
I think the inexpensive brands of oyster crackers work best (less greasy) and I just use the whole 12 oz package per batch. I always double the recipe then use 1/2 the amount of the garlic, dill, and lemon pepper for each batch. Very tasty.

Aunt Kaye's Rhubarb Dump Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2007
I've made this recipe many times. I freeze my rhubarb so I can make this year-round. I'm not very picky about measuring my rhubarb as this recipe adapts to varying amounts. I use Splenda in place of the sugar, and sugar-free raspberry jello in place of the strawberry jello. I also use white cake if I'm out of yellow cake. I serve it with whipped topping or vanilla ice cream, whichever I have on hand. Always a big hit.

Beef with Ramen Noodles

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2007
I used ground beef, frozen oriental-style vegetables, and 3 packages of ramen. Made a very quick meal with plenty of leftovers.

Sock it to Me Cake I

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2007
I have made this recipe multiple times with yellow, strawberry, or lemon cake. I cooked this 42 minutes, omitted the pecans and omitted the brown sugar and cinnamon when I made it with strawberry or lemon cake. Huge raves and requests for repeats from coworkers. Used buttercream frosting to finish.

Banana Cake VII

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2006
This was a great recipe. I made a double batch and family and coworkers alike are gobbling it up. I topped it with powdered sugar because I thought it was sweet enough without frosting. I also substituted a cinnamon blend for the allspice.

Comforting Cube Steaks

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2006
We get a lot of cube steak as part of our meat locker order. It's a challange to find a recipe that is good enough that we want to try it again. This is one of those recipes. We've even enjoyed it as leftovers.
