Grandma Ople's Apple Pie
So easy, so few ingredients - WONDERFUL. I have an apple tree in my backyard and never made an apple pie before. This was EASY. Love the few ingredients that I had in the pantry. I've made this twice already - second pie I just put the entire top crust (skipped the lattice cutting). Husband loved it, but he did request some cinnamon - easy accomodation for him. Thanks for this simple recipe.

Apple Spice Cake
Outstanding! I followed the recipe exactly, except I omitted the raisins. The wonderful aroma while it was baking was almost too much to handle - it smelled oh-so-good. The cake is moist and it tastes wonderful. I have an apple tree and need to use up lots of apples.

Slow Cooker Spicy Black-Eyed Peas
OUTSTANDING!!! This was the BEST tasting "beans" I've ever eaten, with just a touch of spicy! I made it for New Years Day (for good luck & wealth) - made a 1/2 batch. I've already eaten 3 small bowls. I made this exactly as the recipe said and would not change a thing. Mmmmm.... going for another bowl!!!
