Easy Pancakes

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2008
I used whole wheat flour and added 2 mashed banana's. The 2 tablespoons baking powder is a typo, it should only be 2 teaspoons. I only used 1/4 teaspoon salt, and I like my pancake batter runny so I added a little more milk (1/4-1/2 cup). I usually have pancake mix on hand in my pantry but I didn't today so I used this recipe instead, and it was even better then the pancake mix you can buy at the store.

Morning Glory Muffins I

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2008
Yum! I made these muffins even healthier by using all wheat flour and adding 1/3 cup flax seeds. I also used 2 apples, omitted the raisins (hate raisins), and added about a cup of toasted chopped walnuts (didn't do the wheat germ/walnut topping). They turned out great. Perfect for breakfast!

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2008
Super easy to make and fabulous tasting. The only thing I did different was to mix it in a bowl before adding it to the pan, and I had to use a smaller pan because that is all I had (8x8 I think).

Apple Crisp IV

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2007
This recipe works. I reduced the oats and flour like other posters suggested, and added some sugar to the apples. My boyfriend and I loved it.

Sweet and Sour Chicken II

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2007
YUM-O! I did not change the sauce recipe at all (ketchup? yuk!), but I did use more chicken and veggies (I used onions, peppers and broccoli), and because of that I made extra sauce (using o.j. instead of pineapple juice). It is sweet, but I don't think it's too sweet. My tip: add the flower slowly whisking constantly so that there aren't any lumps. Awesome over brown rice!!

Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2006
Super easy and delicious. I made it with angel hair pasta. I also took the advice of other reviewers and waited a little while to put the shrimp in, it doesn't need to be sauted with the garlic. I also added a little more parsley then the recipe calls for. I would highly recommend this recipe for an easy and yummy dinner!
