Quick and Easy Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: May 9, 2010
Great recipe. However, I used some of the reviewers suggestions to make it my own. I used 2 cans of tuna vs. 1, 1 can of cream of chicken soup, & 1 can of cream of mushroom soup. I also used Italian breadcrumbs since I had it readily available. I seasoned the tuna with black pepper and Old Bay. Lastly, I thought I'd add broccoli to make it a one dish meal. Overall, I thought it was a good recipe.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2010
This was an awesome recipe. It tasted as if a lot of effort was put forth into making. But in realty a few simple ingredients made this a hit. I used 4 thawed chicken breasts, added a teaspoon of liquid smoke, and shredded the breasts once tender. Served with buns, sweet potato fries, and & a garden salad. Looking forward to having left overs for lunch this afternoon. Thanks for sharing!

Cha Cha's White Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2008
Aside from shredding the chicken, I followed Hawesa's recommendations. I thought the chili tasted pretty good. My only complaint is that it was a little on the thin side. However, the following day it thickened quite a bit. It tasted better the 2nd day as well.

Italian Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2008
This is an excellent sandwich. I don't care for the typical grilled cheese sandwich but this really hit the spot. I could have eaten a half of loaf of bread using this recipe. lol I enjoyed this with a bowl of chili and look forward to many more. Thanks for sharing.

Slow ' N' Easy Chili

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2008
I thought this was a pretty good recipe. I went home during my lunch break and started preparing for dinner. I browned a pound of ground beef (w/out the sausage) and threw everything into the crock pot. By the time I returned home, the aroma was out of this world. After doing a taste test, I thought it needed some sugar due to bitterness. With the addition of sugar, I would rate this dish a 5. Thanks for sharing! Update: I made this a 2nd time using a pound of ground sausage & a 1/2 pound of ground beef. It was even better than the first time.

Golden Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2008
I thought this was an excellent dish. I seasoned the pork chops liberally with seasoning salt and pepper and then proceeded to follow the recipe. I didn't have any fresh mushrooms, but they weren't missed. I had to cook the chops longer than the recipe stated; about 30 extra minutes to be exact. But it was worth the wait!

Diane's Colcannon

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2008
Excellent recipe! I used 3 pounds of red potatoes and left the skins on. I cheated by using cole slaw simply because I was too lazy to cut up a head of cabbage. lol Everyone thought this dish was fabulous. It was just as good the next day. Thanks for sharing.
