Irish Cream Bundt Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2012
Exellent - very moist. Took it to a function without trying first. Huge hit. The only thing I didn't do was I left out the nuts.

Cranberry Crisps

Very good. I followed recipe exactly. Instead of cookies though, I dumped the whole bowl of batter onto a cookie sheet, pressed down evenly and baked them as bar cookies instead. (1/2" deep cookie sheet).

Great made for company last week! Bit hit. I dissolved approx 2 T. corn starch in 1/2 half and half and added it toward the end to thicken sauce and make creamier. Simmered dish for approx 1 hour.

Baked Taco Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2011
GREAT - Used 5 skinless boneless chicken breats - pounded. I used whole wheat flour by accident and 1 tsp. salt by accident. Came out great. Next time I will add 1/2 tsp ceyenne pepper for a little more spiciness. Melted 1 T of whipped butter in 9x13 glass baking dish in oven before putting in chicken. I also saved back half of the flour mixture before beginning. Glad I did - will make again next week. Keeper recipe! Used HEB taco seasoning 2 packets as recipe calls for. Was wishing I had sour cream at home - would be great on it also a little cilantro, sliced green onions, diced avocado sprinkled on top would be awesome. Served with fresh green salad.

Red Cabbage and Apples

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2011
Wow this looks really similar to my Moms recipe (she is from Germany). We grew up eating this stuff and all loved it - 5 kids. Differences: Add 1 -2 c. water - Simmer for 2 hours - when it's done at 1 T flour to make a little "sauce" optional. Also She used apple cider vinegar and maybe just one tablespoon of sugar. I make it now all the time with 1 T. Splenda - have a big plateful every day for lunch. Good diet food!

Very good on beef. I made beef shish kebabs. Pounded the steak - cut into cubes and marinated it overnight. They came out really great. I also did seperate shrimp ones - just ok. Definitely for beef only. My company loved it.

Baked Fish with Shrimp

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2007
This is a delicious recipe - I used half and half instead of milk. At first I thought the sauce was to salty, but when served on a bed of plain white rice, it wasn't. Great - can't wait to make it again.
