Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2006
This was a keeper! I doubled the raisins and grapes. I also used candied pecans. My family loved it!

Creamy Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2006
Very good! My step daughter has made me promise to make this again. I added mushrooms, onions and green peppers sauted in olive oil, to the chicken mixture. I used the light cream cheese.

Sugar Coated Pecans

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2006
What a winner! This recipe is so easy and the results are fantastic! I used Vanilla in place of the water. I have made several batches this month and family and friends eat them up as fast I make them.

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2009
I used three bananas and added cinnamon. I baked it on the middle rack for about 45 minutes and then moved it to the lower rack for the last 20 minutes. It turned out perfect. My husband loved it. This is the perfect recipe to use up those over ripe bananas. You won't need to run to the store to pick anything up. The ingredients are so simple.

Missy's Candied Walnut Gorgonzola Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2009
I used the recipe for Sugar Coated Pecans by Carolyn (posted here on allrecipes) These are easy and taste amazing. With that exception, I made the salad exactly as the recipe stated. It was fabulous!

Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2009
Excellent cookies. I followed the recipe exactly but used butter rather than margarine. I used very good quality dark chocolate chips. The cookies stayed moist and chewy the next day.

Savory and Sweet Picadillo

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2009
I love this dish! The prunes give it that extra sweetness that balances out the saltiness of the olives and capers.

Maple-Curry Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2009
Excellent, flavorful simple dish. I had some poached chicken breasts and was surfing around allrecipes looking for something to do with them. I have always loved a bit of sweetness in my savory dishes. This recipe was just want I was looking for. I followed the recipe almost exactly. I used fat free half and half with a tablespoon of Greek yogurt for thickness instead of the heavy cream. I served the chicken with brown rice and sauteed spinach. My husband raved about it. This is a for sure repeat!

Hot Fudge Ice Cream Bar Dessert

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2009
Super easy, rich and delicious! I halved the recipe and it still made way too much for the 6 of us to finish. I ended up cutting the leftovers into individual squares, wrapping them in foil, and freezing.

Quinoa and Black Beans

Fabulous! I added red and yellow bell peppers and used chicken broth rather than vegatable broth. This was a simple, healthy delicious dish.

Roquefort Pear Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2010
Yes, it really is THAT good! What a perfect combination of flavors. I used thinly sliced red onions instead of the green onions. I did not use an avocado because mine wasn't ripe. I don't think I was missing out on anything. It was perfect as is.

Seasoned Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2010
Very simple and very good. The onion mix took away that nasty ground turkey taste that I so dislike when I make turkey burgers. I took out some of the powder from the onion soup mix so that it wouldn't be too salty. They came out great.

Blueberry Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2010
Oh yummy, but so bad for my thighs. I love it, but I will try it with half applesauce next time as some of you reviewers have suggested. I used frozen blueberries and they worked perfectly. An absolutely delicious treat! Update: I have made this recipe several times since the first time. I now use about 6 ounces of applesauce and about 3 ounces of oil. I reduced the sugar down to 2 cups. It is still just as moist, sweet and delicious as the original recipe.

Sweet and Tangy Sauteed Collard Greens

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2010
I am not a fan of collard greens but I received them in my co-op share, so had to find a way to make them edible. I must say, this is a delicious recipe. I omitted the butter. The dressing is delicious. I will try this next time with a less bitter green, like Swiss Chard.

Black Bean Hummus

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2010
Fabulous! I used three cloves of garlic and ground chipotle pepper in place of the cayenne pepper. The chipotle pepper gave it a delicious smokey flavor. Wonderful, simple recipe. Update: I have since made it exactly as posted, and I must say, the proportions are dead on. Nothing needed tweaking.

Gourmet Mushroom Risotto

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2011
I made mine in the pressure cooker. I used 3 1/2 cups of broth and 1/2 cup wine. The consistency was perfect. The taste was good, but nothing special. It really could have used an onion sauteed with the mushrooms.

Oat Bran Tortillas

These had to go right into the trash. They would not roll out. The one that I did make looked like a mess and tasted terrible. I would not make these again.
