In one word: AWESOME! Rich and creamy and the perfect amount of cinnamon.

Honey Vanilla Ice Cream

Fabulous! I can't say enough about how good this is--incredible creamy and rich. Most homemade ice cream is incredibly hard to scoop after you put it in your freezer, but this is comparable in density to commercially available ice creams.

Honey's Butter Cake

Wow! What a fabulous cake! The cinnamon-sugar crust gives it an extra something that makes it a recipe I'll use often. Yum!

Kentucky Butter Cake

I can't say enough about this cake. It's fabulous! My husband thinks the sauce would be better with rum, and I agree.

Chicken In Sour Cream

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2000
Yum! This recipe was excellent! I normally don't like things made with onion or mushrooms, but I really enjoyed this. And it couldn't be easier to make. Simply dump and stir. I may, however, make it with boneless, skinless chicken breasts next time, as I am trying to watch my cholesterol.

Coconut Cream Pound Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2012
What a good coconut cake recipe. It is very rich and full of coconut flavor. The only problem I had was with the baking time. It ended up taking closer to one hour and 40 minutes or so, making me wonder if the temperature is correct (seems a bit low). Or maybe it is just my oven and I need to make some adjustments. At any rate, we really enjoyed this. Thanks!

Coconut Pound Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2002
Yum! This cake is even better the day after it's baked. The crunchiness that the glaze adds is unexpected, but welcome. Definitely a keeper. My only suggestion would be to add a little more coconut extract to the batter.

Sweet Dinner Rolls

These are fantastic rolls. Another reviewer said they tasted like the rolls at Lone Star steakhouses. I agree; they're about the closest you can come without the actual Lone Star recipe. Yum!

Aunt Anne's Coffee Cake

This is a great basic coffee cake recipe. It's simple and good, and all the ingredients are things I usually have on hand. A winner!

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2013
This was a huge hit in our house. Our four-year-old, who we usually have to struggle to get to eat one helping of something, ate SIX helpings of this. I definitely will make this again.

Lasagna Roll Ups

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2013
We thought this was fantastic. We like tofu at our house, but if you have someone who doesn't, make this recipe and they will never know. Like some others, I found the filling to be a little bland, so next time I probably will add some garlic powder to jazz it up. I'm not sure where the recipe submitter got the idea that this could fit in a 9X13 pan; with a full pound of lasagna noodles, it yielded that much plus an 11X7 pan I put in the freezer for another time.

Chicken Piccata II

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2013
My whole family loved this recipe. I wasn't sure if it was seasoned enough, but one taste disabused me of that notion. This will become a staple chicken recipe at our house because I always have all the ingredients.

Jiffy Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2012
My husband and son made these with raisins instead of currants last Sunday. What a great recipe! I would have been very skeptical of a shortcut cinnamon roll recipe if I had seen it first, but I'm glad my husband decided to go for it because these were very tasty. The only thing I didn't like about them were the raisins, but that's just my personal preference.

Baked Soy Lemon Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2009
These had a very nice flavor. I did not have the saltiness problem others had, probably because I always use the low-sodium soy sauce. I look forward to having these leftovers for lunch today.

Curried Coconut Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2010
We really liked this. I was a little leery of that much curry powder, since we are not spicy food people, but it was fine. There is no such thing as tomatoes that are both stewed and diced, at least not at any store I've ever shopped at, but I used stewed and broke them up with a spoon to make them more bite-sized. I might just use petite diced tomatoes next time. I also used light coconut milk; it seemed to have no effect on the final outcome. My only complaint is that it was a little soupy after 40 minutes of simmering. This recipe is a keeper.

Apple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2009
MMM! These were good! Very juicy and tasty. The apples were a bit mushy, but still tasted good. I might cut the water down, though, as it seemed to be too much. I made the recipe just as written (important to do if you're going to review it!) and definitely would make them again.

Sweet and Sour Turkey Patties

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2010
These were excellent. As someone else suggested, I cut the oil in half. Next time I make them, I will eliminate it entirely, because it's just not necessary. Personally, we are not big mustard fans at our house, but I used it anyway. I will be eliminating that as well next time. All in all, a nice, healthier alternative to a beef meatloaf.

Tomato Pie I

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2011
Yum! This was an excellent way to use tomatoes from our garden. I would agree with the people who said to drain the tomatoes before making this, as they do get the crust rather soggy if you don't. There's no reason to peel them, though, so I didn't.

Melon Ice Candy

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2013
I am not a cantaloupe fan, but my family thinks these are great. However, I can only imagine the recipe's originator must have ice pop molds that each are the size of a paint can, because I filled my 18 Tupperware molds and 35 of the 3 oz. paper cups before I ran out. Two quarts of water and four pounds of cantaloupe is a LOT.
