Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2008
Wow...very good. I used a milk chocolate cake mix and mini chocolate chips and followed the recipe how it was. Also, made it into a layer cake, using 3-9 inch round pans, spraying and baking them at 350 for 24 minutes and they turned out wonderful! I love this with the chocolate fudge buttercream frosting recipe from this site- just be prepared for a chocolate overload! Always a good thing though...

Breakfast Pizza

Reviewed: May 13, 2008
While not the best breakfast pizza I've ever had, this is pretty good, and very easy and quick to whip together. I would suggest adding some sort of meat- whether it be sausage, bacon, or ham, because I made it without and it was pretty bland. Used a 13x9 pan, sprayed some pam down, and rolled out the crescent rolls. Baked for 27 minutes and it was perfect. The egg mixture doesn't seem like enough, but when it cooks it turns out perfectly. Will make again. Forgot- did bake this at 350 too, and it was just right.

Chocolate Chip Cake

Reviewed: May 8, 2008
Great recipe! I have been looking for a good chocolate chip cake recipe and so far this has been my favorite, plus you can't have easier directions! I omitted the german chocolate, just as I didn't have any, and put in 1 cup of mini semi sweet chocolate chips. I then made these as cupcakes, baked at 350 for exactly 20 minutes, and they were perfect. Cheated and frosted with Betty Crocker's Triple Fudge Chip frosting, just as it was quick. Very tasty and moist. Got rave reviews

Chocolate Crinkles III

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2008
These cookies are great! They do tend to stick to the pans, but if you let them cool for awhile on the pans, they come off a little better. Added in a half bag of chocolate chips I wanted to use up, and they tasted great in the cookie! Also dusted with a little more powdered sugar once the cookies were cooled. Very yummy.

Cinnamon Swirl Bundt Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2008
Excellent flavor, and sooo simple to make. I think I messed something up- my batter was super thick and I had to spoon it into the bundt pan- but it still turned out wonderfully. Make sure to completely soften butter or it will stay lumpy. Baked for 50 minutes at 350 and it was perfect. Also, per previous suggestion, coated the ban with butter then the sugar/cinnamon mix, and did two layers of sugar/cinnamon swirl. Very tasty, and great warm.

Chococonut Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2008
I hate myself for finding this recipe, since it's so good I make these cookies too often and then gorge myself on them. They are outstanding. I follow the recipe exactly, except use milk chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet, I think it adds a little something extra. Even my friends who dislike coconut said they love these cookies, they don't taste too much like coconut, just add enough texture and flavor. Even the batter tastes great!

Alice Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2008
Made this recipe last year for my mom for mother's day, and it has become a family staple now. We love chicken, and this is a great dish full of flavor. My mom has even shared this recipe with all of her co-workers after she first started raving about it. We omit the mushrooms, but only because I don't like them. ust typing this makes me want to cook a batch up right now.

Sugar Cookie Frosting

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2008
This is my new favorite frosting recipe. I didn't even need to add in the full 4 cups of sugar to get the right consistency. The flavor was great, not too sweet, and goes great on sugar cookies. If decorating with sugar though, as I did, you better sprinkle it on quickly after spreading the frosting as it sets fast.

Soft Sugar Cookies IV

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2008
These are really good, tasty cookies, and I love the softness. It really deserves a 4 1/2 rating, I just was hoping they would spread out more when cooking. Next time I'll flatten the balls out a little. The dough was perfect to work with though, and 10 minutes in the oven was right on. Frosted with the "sugar cookie frosting" from this site and they taste great.

Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla Delight

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2008
This is a really easy snack/dessert, and very addicting! I improved it by spreading vanilla frosting on a tortilla, then adding the sugar/cinnamon mix. My roommate and I make these in our quesadilla maker with the frosting on one side and a little butter on the other- very good!

White Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2007
These were SUPER! I followed the recipe to a "t" except omitted the pecans as my roommate doesn't like them. I would like to try them with the cookies though, as these were great. I had 8 right after making them. Did not have any problems with the dough being too dry-it was just right. This recipe definitely does not have that much oatmeal in it, so if you like really oatmeal-y cookies you may try adding more. I love non-flat cookies, and these were perfect! Cooked for exactly 10 minutes and they were soft and yummy.

Chicken Enchilada Casserole II

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2006
The night I tried this recipe out we had an unexpected guest, and it was a good thing this turned out! I'm not that great of a cook and I made this without a problem. I just cooked the chicken breasts in the microwave with a little salsa for like 15 minutes and then shredded it, and they turned out fine. Will make again, easy and tasty!!!
