BBQ Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2007
Spicey and fabulous! Served it at a beer tasting party and it was gone before I even got a piece. I had to make a second one just to try it. Make sure you use good BBQ sauce, that's the secret.

Caramelized Onion and Gorgonzola Pizza

Fabulous! My husband, who doesn't like onions, and I both went back for seconds. Stop your searching, this is the pizza to make tonight!

Black Bean Pizza

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2007
Quite delicious. I expected it to have a more southest flavor, but it was good anyway. Next time I might skip the Italian style tomatoes and add a little chili powder to spice things up a bit.

Turkey Posole

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2007
Perfect use for left-over turkey from thanksgiving (I froze it and am just now getting to it). Very savory and the perfect comfort food for a cool evening. My New Mexican husband says this isn't like the Pasole he used to get as a kid, but it was very delicious none-the-less.

Ham and Wild Rice Quiche

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2007
Yummy! Definitely enough filling for two pies, so make double and freeze the second one. I'm not sure if I cooked it long enough because even though the knife came out clean, it had a lot of liquid and I ended up throwing it back in the oven for another 25 minutes the second time we ate it. I will make it again though!

Sweet Corn Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2007
Pretty good, and I hate to be a party pooper, but the box mix from Trader Joe's is better. I guess I'll stick to that for next time.

Sparkling Holiday Jam

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2007
Delicious! Even sweet enough for those who don't like cranberries. I used about 1/2 the recommended sugar and it was plenty sweet. In addition, I cooked the whole thing for about 30 minutes to make sure the cranberries were adequately soft for spreading. I gave it as gifts for the holidays and I've had requests for the recipe.

Washabinaros Chili

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2006
Our absolute favorite chili and a family favorite. Everyone always wants the recipe. Don't be worried that it will be too spicy (with the all the peppers and the wasabi) because it comes out just right. I add just a little extra brown sugar to taste at the end to make sure its just right.
