Low Carb: Best Bread Machine Bread for Sunbeam

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2012
This recipe is fool proof! I have all these ingredients on hand, which is great when I want fresh bread and not have to run to the store for special ingredients. It rises everytime (make sure flour is room temp). LOVE IT! Yum!

Butterscotch Pudding

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2010
This was good to take away a sweet tooth craving. I would suggest not using more vanilla than it calls for or using less. I'm used to using extra in other recipes, but in this one, it was overpowering. Enjoy!

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2010
This is a winner with us, no cinnamon and no nuts, we just loved it! It sounds basic. and it is!! Best thing, it's delicious!! Great as a loaf and/or muffins! Enjoy! // Added July 8, 2011: Made substitutions that WORKED (because we lacked the real ingredients): White sugar, baking powder, and added 1c. chopped pecans. Made muffins, 350 for 20 min.

Peanut Butter Cream Fudge

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2010
Yummy!! I didn't have evap milk or marshmallow creme that other recipes needed, so this was perfect! It's a FLEXIBLE Recipe too. After reading all reviews, I did this... made it with Brown Sugar (some said it wasn't sweet enough) and used Heavy Cream (some didn't like the sour cream taste)! Great substitutes (imo). I think I boiled it too long (no thermometer), the top was crumbly but the middle was good. Next time, after the 5 min simmer maybe only 3 min uncover cook, instead of the 5 min I did this first time. Also, I lined my dish with foil then wax paper to help with no stick, no waste. I used Crunchy PB, too. Enjoy!

Chocolate Chip Dream Bars

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2010
Yummy! These were best next day. Contrary to some reviews... I only had 1/3 cup choc. chips, so I made and used the glaze, Mmmm. Based on other feedback, I used an 8x8 dish and greased it with butter for no stick. Next time I make these, I think I'll try 1/2 c choc chips and 1/2 c pecans. Recipe is easy too, seems complicated but really easy! Enjoy!

Country Chicken Supper

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2010
We Love AllRecipes Ingredient Search! ... I found this recipe and read all the reviews (1 to 5 stars). I think a "key substitution" is this: Salsa for the Diced tomatoes! It's what I had and used, YUM! Other than that, I used 2c. Cooked Rice (leftovers), Cooked cubed chicken, and fresh carrots. The potatoes and carrots are a little crisp, so if you want to precook them, it might help, but I am liking the crispness. I might serve with tortillas a side of corn (or put it in next time). Enjoy!

Creamy Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2010
I use this everytime we have Left over Rice! As the recipe says - Cook rice first, so leftover is best! I have used White and Whole Wheat Rice. Both are winners in our house. We never use Raisins. Enjoy!

Onion Mustard Buns

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2010
I have made these a few times and everytime they are a favorite by all! It makes a LOT of rolls! I even baked a braided loaf, froze it, and thawed a month later, and it tasted fresh! We will surely make these anytime we want rolls! Note: I used my bread machine to only MIX the dough, then I take it out and rise as instructed. Enjoy!

Easy Spinach Lasagna with White Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2010
It is Easy and Absolutely Amazing. I have not made too many Lasagnas, and I wasn't sure about the carrots, but it's great! We use Fresh spinach and cook it with the garlic and onions as instructed. We make our own Alfredo, but it comes out a little greesy from the butter I use. I bake it twice. Bake it, let it cool and bake it again. YUM! We've made this several times! Great for Vegatarians, too. Enjoy!

Hearty Chicken Strata

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2010
I made this as directed. It's between a 3 & 4 stars, as is. It was just like Dressing or Stuffing. We didn't have gravy, so I made a sauce from mayo, milk, chicken boullion cubes, pepper, and parm cheese. We liked it with that! With your own flair, this can be great! It was very dry for us, like it needed more broth. If I make it again, I will precook the diced veggies with the chicken. I will use less bread and maybe add cheese on top. I will not do the second 45 minute bake. Not really a 'bad' recipe. There is room to customize for sure. Maybe add Cream of Chicken soup in it or on it after. The ideas are open! Experiement and enjoy!

Old-Fashioned Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2009
I am so excited that I cannot fail with these everytime I make them. I have even used Hearshey's Dark Baking Cocoa, for us dark chocolate fans! For other New fudge makers or those without a thermometer, do this recipe exact and for me, boiling time is about 15 minutes! A little less for those who like them more chewy and a little more for those who like it more done with a snap to each bite. You decide and enjoy!

This is a family and friend favorite! I make as muffins/cup cakes for ease of serving size to share and bakes a little quicker. We've tried plain or with raisins and even tried chocolate chip. all are good. Make for breakfast or your next pitch in.

Make it a Blondie! If you cannot 'do' Chocolate, then replace flour for the cocoa! It's even better with pecans and caramel dots!

Quick Festive Ground Meat Skillet

This is so good and flexible. The recipe is flexible in what you add and the end result is flexible in a main dish, side dish or a dip. Be creative and make to your needs. Use your favorite ground meat! Use ranch dressing or sourcream. Hot or mild salsa, this dish will be so good in taste!

Mom's Garbage Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2009
These were great! Just a few changes... used rice krispies instead of corn flakes (didn't have any) and butter instead of shortening. Also did not use dates. Pecans made them awesome. They went straight to the oven like drop cookies (not slice fridge ones). Enjoy!! I made these a second time w/o the oats and they came out flat, so I'd make sure you have oats. Cook at a LOWER TEMP, I did 325/350 degrees and cooked until the top no longer shines - much better. FYI

Breakfast Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2009
This came out great for us. I didn't read any reviews until after I made it. I made CupCakes instead of a cake and didn't have any rising problems. I did substitute butter (real, no salt) for the shortening. I did add more topping of brown sugar and cinnamon. Yum, great with coffee or milk. It's really a 'coffee cake' like taste/consistency and it's not too bad for breakfast, hence the name it was given. Enjoy!
