Irish Soda Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2013
Excellent recipe! Perfect texture and sweetness. I only added a touch more than 2 cups of raisins and I think that was fine. I think 3 would be too much. I was a little worried because the dough looked so lumpy and had very little form to it but it was perfect.

Quinoa and Black Beans

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2012
This is so easy and very delicious (and healthy)! I usually cut back on the beans to one can and increase the corn to 1 1/2 cups.

Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2011
These are very good pancakes! I added a small amount of vanilla to the batter and it worked out perfectly. Like others have mentioned, this makes a small amount of pancakes. I would say it serves 2 rather than 4. I think I might double it next time.

The Best Vegetarian Chili in the World

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2011
Be warned- this is very hot chili. And I love spicy food! I had to add some sour cream to the top the first night we made it to take the heat down a couple of notches. This does get better overnight though and the heat somehow seemed to dissipate. I think the next time I make this, I'll cook the night before I plan to serve it.

Waffles I

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2011
We've made this recipe three times now. It's fantastic. Be sure to beat the eggs with a hand mixer. I beat them by hand the second time, and the waffles didn't seem as fluffy. Great recipe! Thanks!

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2009
This is excellent! I do agree that the water should either be cut down (or even cut out completely). I had a little pool of water at the bottom of my pan. Still fantastic and I'll be making this again!

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2009
This was excellent! I don't really care for raspberries, so I substituted blueberries instead. I also cut down the white sugar to 1 tablespoon as previous reviewers had recommended. It would have been way too sweet otherwise. For the chips, make sure you actually mix the cinnamon and sugar together before sprinkling it over the tortillas. I figured I would sprinkle each separately and the cinnamon ended up burning. When you use the mix, they come out perfectly! My only other issue is that it came out a bit runny. Not sure how to fix this. Otherwise, a great recipe!

I feel like I had to have done something wrong since so many people like this recipe, but it doesn't taste like anything!
