Creamy Broccoli Casserole

Awesome recipe!! I added some shredded cheddar cheese to the sauce. I also did a mix of broccoli and cauliflower. I'm going to try using the sauce to make a seafood au gratin, with scallops, shrimp, crab etc. I think it would be great. You've got to try this!!!

Pumpkin Toffee Pie

This is a great recipe. This past Thanksgiving, I decided to make several different kinds of pumpkin pies. This one was the overall favorite. I couldn't find toffee baking bits, so I improvised using Werther's Originals candies, that I broke up in tiny pieces. They got nice and gooey.

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

Perfect oatmeal cookie recipe. They are soft and delicious. If anyone who rated these, saying they are not soft, I would suggest making sure not to overbake them. Any cookie will get hard if overbaked. A good rule of thumb, for any cookie, is to remove them from the oven, just before they're completely baked, and let them sit on the cookie sheet for a minute or so. This way they will continue to bake, without getting too brown or hard.

Chinese Cabbage Salad I

This is excellent!! The only thing I did differently is use half veg oil and half sesame oil and cut back on the sugar. No need to change anything else. This is a great light salad for a hot summer day (or anytime, really). So easy too!

Burgundy Pork Tenderloin

This recipe is AWESOME!! I made it once, so far, and am making it again for a dinner party. Definitely use more brown gravy mix to make extra for mashed potatoes (it's sooo good on them). The only thing I'm going to do differently this time is pan sear the meat a bit, before puttting in oven, for presentation only. The pork looks a little pale, otherwise. This is a great easy main dish that looks and tastes very elegant!

Chocolate Covered Cherry Cookies II

These are great! I did make some changes though. I didn't feel like doing the frosting, so I added chocolate chips to the batter, instead. When they were cool, I dusted them with powdered sugar. This really made them look festive, for Christmas!
