This pie was easy & impressive! Couple things I changed: Cut the sugar to a heaping 1/2 cup (I used a Splenda mix), and use 1 teaspoon vanilla, and a teaspoon almond extract, since I had it on hand. It was perfect! I also sliced the pears instead of halving them and topped the whole thing with cinnamon to make it even more repertoire!
