Healthy Banana Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2008
Yum! This was the perfect treat for my twin toddlers. I tweaked the recipe a bit, adding 1/2 tsp of cinnamon and 1 tsp of nutmeg. I also used raisins rather than dates. A very moist and tasty cookie.

Great side dish with just enough kick! I followed the recipe exactly and would not change a thing. I did line the baking dish w/ foil to make clean-up easier! Thanks for a super recipe!

Strawberry Trifle

Yum!! This was a great recipe that I elaborated on based on some other reviews...I whipped my own cream and combined that with the cool whip. I also included a layer of frozen blueberries (kept the bananas too though). This also made for a very pretty presentation. We did have some leftovers the next day but I did not find them to be "soupy" at all.

Parmesan Chicken II

Reviewed: May 17, 2007
Yum!!! This chicken came out so tasty and crispy. It actually tasted fried! I used chicken leg quarters instead of drumsticks and they were delicious. The only change I really made was to decreast the parm cheese to 1 cup and add one cup of seasoned bread crumbs. My husband and I both loved this recipe!

Pineapple Angel Food Cake I

What an easy reicpe! Instead of a 9x13 pan I used one loaf pan and also made 24 cupcakes (using the one box). I used the cooking times listed on the back of the box. In addition to the whipped topping I topped both with toasted cocount and maraschino cherries. Yummy and very attractive. It was a hit at a mother's day function and it looked far more involved than it was.

Meringue Kisses II

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2007
A great recipe-quick and easy! Instead of toffee bits I used finely chopped almonds-yum! I also added a very small amount of red food coloring to make pale pink coloring for Easter. I then folded the mixture into a large plastic bag, clipped the corner and piped the cookies onto the sheet. Very attractive looking and great tasting!

London Broil I

What a fantastic way to prepare an inexpensive cut of meat! I followed the recipe entirely except for doing 1/4 c. worcestershire sauce and 1/4 c. soy sauce insead of the 1/2 c. soy. I also marinated the meat for a full 24 hours. This came out so flavorful and so tender! I can't believe I paid $1.86 for a steak and loved the taste!

Ricardo's Pizza Crust

This pizza crust is fantastic!! I followed the recipe exactly and could not have been any happier. The crust is a bit sweet but I found that to be a great contrast with some spicy sauce and pepperoni. Thanks for a wonderful recipe!

Bread Pudding II

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2007
This was my first time making and trying bread pudding and I was 100% satisfied! This recipe was very simple and delicious! I took the advice of previous posters and used cinnamon raisin bread and omitted the extra raisins. I also used 8 slices rather than 6 and did not find the dish "eggy" at all. I can't wait to make this one again!

Yum. What a simple recipe to jazz up the baked potato! I followed this recipe exactly and did not find the skin a bit salty-it was nice and crisp and flavorful. I will surely be making this again!

Herbed Mushrooms with White Wine

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2007
Excellent recipe!! I followed the recipe exactly except for the chives which I did not have. My husband is not a mushroom fan but he really liked this dish. I used it as a side dish but these mushrooms would be great on a burger too. Thanks so much for sharing such a quick, easy and delicious recipe!

Eggnog Quick Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2006
This bread was a big hit at a holiday party. Based on the other reviews, I added an extra 1/4 cup of eggnog and 2tbs of oil to combat the dryness. I also used cinnamon flavored eggnog. Great recipe!

Autumn Beef Stew

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2006
I thought this recipe was just ok...it needs some more zing. I agree that it really needs more "juice" and is not at all stew like. Next time I will probably add some beef broth and some additional spices to enhance the flavor.

Yum! This recipe was delicious. I will be bringing it to a holiday party and I am sure it will be a hit. It does turn a kind of off color as previous reviewers mentioned so I will try sifting next time. Thanks for a quick and super easy recipe!

Had a good banana flavor but I don't think it was sweet enough...I would probably use more sugar next time and maybe some vanilla to enhance the flavor a bit.

This was not a favorite. They were a bit spicy and did not crisp up all that well. I will probably make again with a new spice combo.

Very good recipe and easy to make. A great use for that last banana! I too used cruncy peanut butter instead of the peanuts.
