I heart food :) I love cooking all kinds of things but a lot of my specialties are American comfort foods. Thanksgiving 2007: I was transporting most of my cooking pans, tools, and food to a friend's house to prepare dinner for 7. We couldn't do it at my place because my oven is too small. The central heating at my friend's house had gone kaput but we kept things warm and toasty with the fireplace, a few space heaters, and the oven. I made a turkey, stuffing, pecan bars, mashed potatoes, corn, salad,...the works! The turkey was my best yet! My first and last attempt "baking" a cake in a microwave...in the late 80s, I think.
