West African Peanut Stew

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2015
I LOVED this soup. I didn't have kale or collard greens so I used spinach instead. I also used double the stock (I like mine a bit more soupy instead of stew) and I doubled the tomatoes too. The flavor was incredible with the ginger and peanut together. I will definitely make this again. My hubby raved for days!

Incredibly Cheesy Turkey Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2008
I thought this recipe was good for a quick meal. I added onion and garlic powder, sage, and parmesan cheese. I used grated cheese instead of cubed. I omitted the salt. I also added some worchestire sauce to the ketchup. It kept moist and had a good flavor, it will make great leftovers! I will make this again.

Cabbage Soup II

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2007
This soup was delicious. I added a small amount of hot sauce to the broth to give it a bit more kick. Be prepared though, it really does clean out your system! Great for a cold winter day.

Pork Chops Deluxe

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2007
I liked this recipe for a quick meal, I would add some pepper to the meal and I completely excluded the salt. I also used brown rice instead of white rice for a healthoer option.

Green Bean Artichoke Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2007
This is one of my favorite recipes, I make this every Thanksgiving and get rave reviews for it. I do not like the traditional green bean casserole, but I love this one! I make a few modifications though: less breadcrumbs, add the juice of the artichokes of one can, use fresh garlic instead. Enjoy!

Simple Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2007
I loved this recipe, I cooked this in the slow cooker for 4 hours on high and it was ready to eat just before Monday night football started. Instead of using cayenne pepper I used nutmeg. Instead of water, I used chicken broth. I also added a can of black beans and green chiles. I perked it up a bit with some hot sauce too! Yum, I would definitely make it again.
