Three Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: May 20, 2002
I only made these because I was craving something sweet and am out of EVERYTHING...I even hadto usebrown sugar in place of white...these are good for eating as cookie dough, but the "cookies" themselves are kinda weird. But it was a great fix for my sweet tooth, and better than eating peanut butter straight from the jar.

My almost 2 year old LOVED this recipe. Could use a little more flavor, though.

Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2002
This is a great recipe. I alternate this with the "Brown Sugar Meatloaf," they are both so different, I can't decide which one is better, so they tie for favorites in this family.

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2002
These were good, I made them with crunhy peanut butter, and I think they would have been better with creamy peanut butter and some peanut butter chips. They are soft and chewy, and the oatmeal is great...

This was so yummy, and incredibly easy. It tastes really close to a "Whatchamacallit" candy bar...everyone loved it.

Applesauce Raisin Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2002
I made this recipe without the raisins. The bread was really, really moist. I also added about 1/4 tsp. nutmeg. Only complaint was that there was more cinnamon flavor than apple flavor, but it is worth trying again with maybe a bit less cinnamon.

Cranberry Crunch Squares

DEFINITELY use 2 cans of cranberry sauce, or else there is way too much topping. But it was sooo yummy!

Self Frosting Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2002
Very good, but watch how much confectioner's sugar you use...they can get almost TOO sweet. Great consistency to the cookie.

Julia's Easy Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2002
This was a good, basic recipe, but I did think it was a bit bland. That might be primarily because I prefer a little more "zip" in flavor, but it was a solid and easy recipe. Smelled good while cooking. Might make it again, but adding some spice...

Slow-Cooker Pepper Steak

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2002
Good basic recipe, could use a little more "zing" as far as flavor goes. I will make it again using some of the other reviewer's suggestions for additional flavor. It was a little better the second day!

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2002
I just now finished baking this bread...and it is moist, flavorful, and my 18 month old loves it! I too, have also sampled several other banana bread recipes from this site, and so far this is my favorite. I also added 1 tsp. vanilla extract and a little cinnamon, also used a full cup of brown sugar. Great recipe!

Even my picky husband had seconds, and my 18 month old is still eating leftovers for breakfast this morning. This was delicious, I will make it again. I might add a little more beef, though, next time.
