Indiana Potato Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2008
I just made this for company, and 4 adults and 2 kids cleaned out the whole dish! Delicious and easy--thanks for the recipe.

Chicken Katsu

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2008
This was a little bland without the sweet and sour sauce another reviewer suggested. With it, it was fantastic--and I'm not usually a fan of sweet and sour at restaurants.

Glo's Sausage Fried Rice

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2008
Delicious! This was my 1st attempt at fried rice, and it was a big hit with the whole family. I followed others' advice and cut the recipe in half and used broccoli stir fry mix. Will definitely make again.

Japanese-Style Sesame Green Beans

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2008
We love traditional, Southern green beans, but these were very good! I served them with Chicken Katsu and Glo's Sausage Fried Rice for "Japanese Night." They were a great combination.

Brazilian Lemonade

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2008
Very good and simple to make! It's light and refreshing--just be sure not to pulse too much or it will be a little bitter. Thanks for a great recipe.

Sourdough Starter I

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2008
A great starter--I've given it out to several friends who had to have the recipe after trying the bread. It's very easy to maintain, too. I kept mine in the fridge and fed it/made bread every 3-7 days (ususally every 7).

Cake Balls

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2008
The hardest part was covering them with almond bark. I froze them overnight, thinned my bark with just a LITTLE vegetable oil, and drizzled it over top. Once the coating had set up, I set the bottoms down in a puddle of bark to coat them underneath. I made these for a baby shower, and everyone wanted the recipe.

Coconut (Haupia) and Chocolate Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2008
This was a beautiful pie! The coconut flavor is very hard to detect with the chocolate so that my kids liked it, even though they don't like coconut.

Pork Tenderloin in Mustard Marinade with Cherry Compote

Reviewed: May 11, 2010
I just used the mustard marinade, did not use the cherry compote, and loved the flavor! I will use this again and try to marinate for 24 hours. Great flavor!

Incredible Turkey Brine

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2012
This was a great, simple recipe. I couldn't find vegetable stock, which is required for most other brines, but I had almost everything for this recipe. I only had dried herbs, but it still worked great. This gives the turkey a nice juicy flavor, without a lot of herb and citrus notes that you find in other brines. I brined the turkey for 24 hours before roasting.
