Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2012
Not that these cookies need another review, but I wanted to put my two cents in. Bare in mind, my chocolate chip cookies always turn out flat and over baked. These cooked PERFECTLY. I baked for exactly nine minutes on parchment lined baking sheets. The flavor is wonderful and three days later they still taste very fresh! Try them, I know you'll like them!!

Oven Baked Jambalaya

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2011
AWESOME!! Don't hesitate to make this dish. Some of the reviews say it's too time consuming. I didn't find it to be. If you're concerned about time you could use pre-cooked meats and just toss into the pot. I actually cooked my chicken in the same pot I used in the oven. Thought it might help develop richer flavors. The only things I did different from the recipe was to use brown rice and I cooked it 15 minutes longer than time stated. This one is a keeper!!

Spicy Baked Sweet Potato Fries

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2009
I made these fries last night. They were delicious!! I did my own little experiment. I took the advice of one of the other reviews and used a cooling rack over a baking sheet (greased both) for one batch and used my Pampered Chef bar stone for the other. By far, the cooling rack method won!! The fries cooked on the stone were burned. I would recommend sprinkling with brown sugar when they come out of the oven. I'm planning to make them again tonight. They made my kitchen smell so good!!!

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2007
I absolutely loved this dish! It was like eating at my favorite Asian restaurant. The only change I will make next time is to back the hot sauce down to 1 tablespoon. I used Louisiana and found it to be too spicy and I love spicy food. I have already shared this recipe with friends. Thanks, Kate, for a super recipe.

Caramel Pretzel Nut Popcorn

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2006
I made this recipe last night. Some of the reviews mentioned how the popcorn stuck to the paper bag. I solved that problem by lightly spraying the inside of the bag with Pam. It worked like a dream. I baked it at 250 degrees for 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes. I thought it was still going to be kind of mushy, but today it's nice a crisp. Very good flavor. I will make it again.
