Mediterranean Puff Pastry Chicken

Butternut Squash Soup with a Kick

Dee-lish! I had extra time so I roasted my squash like others suggested. Also added Ancho Chili and Cayenne instead of Jalapenos so my young son would eat it. Yummy!

Creamy Blueberry Pie

Chocolate Buttermilk Brownies

I had extra Buttermilk I needed to use so I thought this would calm my chocolate cravings while using up my Buttermilk. I do agree with others that it turns out more like a cake than a brownie, but it was still so delicious! I didn't use nearly the amount of confectioners sugar for the icing (I don't like mine super-sweet). Very yummy!

Exquisite Pizza Sauce

We use this sauce pretty much every time we make pizza-which is almost weekly. I couldn't find anchovy paste at first so I pureed anchovies in olive oil but that always seemed a little too fishy. After finding paste, it was even better! In my recipe book forever!

Fresh Broccoli Salad

Delicious! I've made this many times and have made slight modifications each time. The basics are there so you can adjust ingredients (eg: I use Balsamic Vinegar instead, etc). Definitely tastes better once it's melded.

Spooky Witches' Fingers

So fun! I added green food coloring and did as some suggested to dip almonds in jam before cooking. They are such a big hit! Skinny fingers are best because they puff and get "fat-looking" if you make them too wide. Obese-witch!

Challah I

I've made this twice now and both times have been delicious! I haven't braided it like traditional Challah bread so it came out super-fluffy since it didn't have a whole lot of extra handling. The last time I made it, I ran out of white flour and finished with whole wheat flour (still turned out great). I have also added chives to give it an eggy-herby taste. A+!
