Pasta Primavera with Italian Turkey Sausage

This was incredible! Seriously awesome. I have tried so many pasta recipes trying to find one that was healthy and delicious and I finally did it! I used Honeysuckle Turkey Sausage-Sweet Italian, 1 can of fire roasted tomatoes instead of the Roma, and red bell pepper since it's what I had on hand. I also only used 1 each zucchini and squash and it made a hearty meal for 5-6 people. OH...I left out the bouillon too because I didn't have any. I can't imagine needing anything to this dish. well done.

Slow Cooker Pineapple Pork Roast

This did not turn out well at all. It needs a lot more flavor and juice. I used 1.5 pound pork roast and half of each can of pinapple chunks and cranberries. The pork roast was very tender, but it soaked up all the juice which was lacking serious flavor. I'm not sure how you're able to pour this over rice??

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

This couldn't have been easier to make and my family devoured it. Next time I will make a few changes because I thought 3 potatoes was too many. We have a lot of potatoes left over. I also didn't have a bay leaf on hand and I was out of paprika so I can't wait to try that next time. I will also add a few more carrots and celery. We served this with warm yeast roll! Great Meal!

Chicken Florentine Casserole

This was really good and my family isn't big on cooked spinach. I did make quite a few changes (sorry!) to make it a bit healthier. I only used a tablespoon of butter, 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese and didn't top it with mozzerella cheese or bacon. We didn't miss anything. We also served it with rice that made it a nice filling meal.

Slow Cooker Pepper Steak

this is one of the easiest and tastiest slow cooker recipes. I use Worcestershire sauce intead of soy sauce and usually end up adding a bit more garlic powder once it's all in the pot. My 5yr old devours it and everyone gets seconds.

Cajun Chicken Pasta

wonderful and filling meal that everyone loved. I cut the prep time in half by cutting everything in advance earlier in the day. I usually make without the mushrooms.

Marinated Baked Pork Chops

amazing flavor. everyone in the family loves them. I pour all the sauce over the chops before baking an don't flip them. This allows the sauce on the chops to thicken a little and not slide off when serving.

Lemon Cream Pasta with Chicken

this was way too lemony for our tastes and had a bad aftertaste. My hubby didn't finish half his plate. sorry. this just didn't work for us and i followed the recipe exactly.

Mushroom Rice

I usually only make rice when we have something saucy to go with it. After making this I have changed my ways. Its a wonderful side dish and very easy to make. I would add more garlic as other reviewers have said to give it a bit more flavor. I didn't use green onion either because its not something i keep on hand.

Roasted Garlic Cauliflower

This is AMAZING! I was a little worried that it would be too much garlic, but it was fantastic. I didn't have parsley on hand but I used real grated Parmesan and I really think that just put this dish over the top good. I will definitely make this again. Would be great to serve to guests too.

Whole Wheat Beer Bread

I absolutely love beer bread so I was excited to try this version with whole wheat flour. I was a little disappointed with the dryness of the bread, but that could be because I used all whole wheat flour. It was still very tasty, but it was pretty dry compared to others I've made.

Whole Wheat, Oatmeal, and Banana Pancakes

These are excellent pancakes! I will never buy store bought mix again. I made a few changes just to make them a bit healthier and they turned out fantastic. I used all whole wheat flour and substituted applesauce for the oil. I also didn't add the dry milk (not sure what benefit this has). Next time I will try cutting down the brown sugar and adding in a bit of Wheat Germ.

Easy Meatloaf

I've been fixing the sweet-n-sour meatloaf recipe for years now, but decided to try something different for dinner. The whole family raved how good it was. This will be my new recipe. I did use a little less mustard and a little more ketchup in the sauce. My meatloaf also took 2 hrs to finish cooking, I've never had one done at 1 hr!

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

I have made pot roast 100+ times but this is by far the best way to make it! The sauce is perfect and everyone including guests raved about this. We used fresh sausage rolls and topped with swiss cheese. I love a dish that is super simple yet tastes like it took a lot of preparation!

Ham and Cheese Bowties

I was a bit skeptical about this dish because it didn't look like there was much too it. WOW, it was amazing! I think the cheese sauce would be sooo good as a fondue as well. The only thing I might try differently next time is adding a bit more milk, like 1/4 cup to make the sauce a bit more saucy. After it's been on your plate it gets a bit cakey, but it has unbelievable flavor. I also omitted the parmesan in the last step and used shredded colby and monterrey jack because it's what I had on hand. Right after dinner I made another batch to freeze! Yummy!!

Baked Pork Chops I

Ok, I'll admit I didn't cook them the full 1 1/2 hours, but more like 1hr and 10 minutes. The porkchops were not as tender as I anticipated so maybe they do need the full time. I didn't have cream of mushroom so I used cream of celery and added fresh mushrooms. I like the sauce, but the porkchops tasted just like they do from the stovetop. Next time I will try following the recipe exactly. We still like them, but didn't loooove them.

Fudge Puddles

These deserve 10 stars!! After letting the cookies cool for 5 minutes in the pan, I still found it difficult to remove them from the pan without the top ring wanting to separate from the rest of the cookie. I think they definitely need more time to cool like other reviewers mentioned. I actually made the rest of them in regular muffin cups and thought it was MUCH easier. Still plenty of room for filling and no waiting for them to cool down so it's a speedier process. Needless to say they were devoured!!

Southwestern Egg Rolls

I've made these twice in the last two weeks because they are now on high demand in my house. I chop everything and throw it in my skillet as directed but I use a can of chicken to save time and can't tell any difference. Absolutely the best...

Lemon Pecan Pound Cake

Golden Potato Soup

This was excellent! My husband who isn't a big fan of soup said, I'm "turning into a genius in the kitchen!" I did have to alter it a bit since I used more potatoes. I added 1 can of chicken broth in place of the bouillon and water and 1 can of evaporated milk. Will make again soon!
