My favorite things to cook
Bread, cookieas and other wonderfully fattening things; the bakeshop is my favorite station. I also like cooking chicken because there are so many different things you can do with it. Fish is just fun.

Making jule kaga and tourtiere at christmas time, as well as the shortbread.
My cooking triumphs
The first bread I did correctly -- by myself -- and my first risotto. (The risotto wasn't all me, Chef led me through it, but it was delicious)
My cooking tragedies
We'll just not go there... there are so many. That's just what happens when you're learning every day. I think the favorite was the pilaf I burned VERY badly that somehow still formed a nice pillar.
