Russian Tea Cakes I
These tea cakes were good, but they didn't have as much nutty flavor as I remember with other recipes that I've used. It may be because this recipe uses walnuts instead of pecans. Also, you really need to make sure your butter is softened or the dough will come out crumbly. It didn't mention that in the recipe, so I had to add a couple of tablespoons of milk to get the dough to stick together.

Molasses Sugar Cookies
These cookies are so delicious and go great with egg nog during the holidays. You really do have to cook them for 10 minutes exactly. The first batch I made didn't look done enough, so I left them in longer and they came out too hard. The second batch was perfect at 10 minutes. The dough makes plenty of cookies - I am still eating them and it's January already (of course that's probably because I've kept most of them for myself!).

Baked Apricot Chicken
The sauce on this recipe is so delicious and easy to make. I used 8 chicken thighs since that's all I could fit into my 9 x 13 pan. I had plenty of sauce to pour over rice. This also keeps well if you have any leftovers. The only drawback is that chicken thighs are a bit greasy, but they sure are good with the sauce. :)
