I made this for Thanksgiving by using 1/2 cauliflower and 1/2 broccoli and using the food processor instead of chopping. The one problem was way too much pepper. I doubled the recipe and only used 3 tsp.pepper and was still too much for most.(I love pepper!!!) I would suggest about 1/2 tsp. of pepper to start with, then adjust to taste. My husband and I found that it was really good on sandwiches,used like cole slaw. This is a delicious salad! In fact, my daughter-in-law has asked me to make it for her baby shower(she loves pepper, too)
