Grandma Ople's Apple Pie

This is an awesome marinade. I've used it 3 or 4 times now and we love it! I do let it marinate in a Ziplock bag over night.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

We made this last night for the Superbowl. It was a big hit. The only thing I did differently was to sautee my own chicken to add. Great flavor, especially with the "Chicken in a Biscuit" crackers. We be making again soon.

Busy Day Chicken

Crescent Beef Casserole

This was good. I didnt have any zucchini on hand, so I threw in a cup of corn instead. My kids loved the crescent roll topping. They asked for it next week too.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

I am not that big of a fan of pumpkin, but my husband and kids loved this. Ive made two big loaves already and they are gone within a day!

Chicken Stuff

We loved this recipe. The only thing I did different was put some cheddar cheese on top of the soup mixture and then poured the cornbread (Jiffy Mix) on top and baked it.

Layered Beef Casserole

The only reason I am giving this 2 stars is because the ease of preperation. This was not appetizing at all. After 2 hours in the oven, the ground beef was almost black and crunchy. The veggies were still hard. I had to throw the whole casserole away.

Cola Pork Chops

We made this tonight, it was really yummy. I used half a cup of ketchup and half a cup of BBQ sauce. I also dredged the chops in flour before cooking, that helped to thicken the sauce. I will make this again!

Iowa Pork Steak

We tried this recipe tonight. I followed the ingredients, but put it in the slow cooker on low all day. It was very tender. My husband loved it, I thought it was a little too mushroomy. The gravy was really good over our homemade mashed potatos. Will try again maybe next time not using as many mushrooms.

Taco Soup VIII

This was a really good recipe. We had it last night for dinner and everyone loved it, even my pickiest child. It was a little thick, more like chili than soup. So maybe next time I will add more tomato sauce or some chicken broth. Served with chips and lots of cheese!

Easy Chicken Casserole

We tried this recipe tonight. It was really good. I did add a cup of milk and cheddar cheese to melt on top. I used the crackers with melted butter, but I also think French Fried onions would be a good topping also. Really easy and not too expensive!
