Roast Beef Tenderloin

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2014
This was amazing! Definitely will make it again. I personally added a little too much salt, but the tenderloin and sauce were so good.

Lime Cilantro Rice

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2013
My husband won't stop raving about this rice! I did make a few changes. I started with melting the butter, then sautéed 1/2 of an onion and 2 cloves garlic for about 5 minutes, added in the rice and cooked for 3-5 minutes, then added in chicken broth (instead of the water called for), and seasoned with salt and pepper to taste. Then cooked it according to the rice's package directions. And last I added in lime zest, lime juice, and cilantro just before serving. I did increase the lime juice to 3 tbsp, because we like limes in our household. Overall an amazing and delicious rice recipe that makes a wonderful side and is so flavorful!

Get a Husband Brunswick Stew

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2013
This was great! I made a few additions/changes: I used butter instead of oil, 3 stalks of celery, 3 cloves garlic, 1 cup BBQ sauce, 1 cup red wine, 1 can beef broth, a dash of Worcestershire sauce, and 3 (8oz) cans of Lima beans drained. Both my husband and friends raved on about how good this was. I even had a friend ask for the recipe. I served it with cornbread.

Easy Meatloaf

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2013
This was amazing and pretty easy to make. I would sauté the onion and add in some garlic in the future, but otherwise a really great recipe for meatloaf!

Baked Ham with Maple Glaze

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2013
I did as another user suggested and used bourbon in place of the red wine vinegar. This was excellent, moist, and flavorful! The only other change I made was that I added garlic powder, salt, and pepper all to taste.

Onion Roasted Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2013
Delicious! I used half potatoes and half sweet potatoes. Also used coconut oil instead of vegtable oil and added garlic powder, salt, and pepper. My husband couldn't stop raving about these. So good.

Fish with Lemon Sauce

This was excellent! I used tilapia and seasoned with salt, pepper, and old bay seasoning. I doubled the sauce and added 2 stalks of spring garlic. I will definitely make this again!

Melissa's Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2011
These were delicious! My husband is still raving about them weeks later and he can't wait for me to make them again. I did use real crab-meat (2 cans) instead of the imitation. I also added some Worcestershire sauce, onions, and bell peppers. I diced onions and peppers and sauteed them with the garlic. I had bought 18 of the stuffing portabella mushrooms and still had a lot of the stuffing leftover. Oh and when you pull them out of the oven grate some fresh parmaesan over top. You have to have some cheese. I will definitely be making these again for our next get together!

Chicken Gravy

Reviewed: May 7, 2007
The first time I made this it turned out fabulous. The second time was still pretty good, but too thick. I think that I may have let it sit too long. But this is definately a very good and easy recipe.
