Pretzel Turtles

Wow! So easy and addictive. I tried using the Dove caramel filled squares, but Rolos work much better since the caramel filling isn't as gooey. I made a ton of these and topped with fresh pecans, cocoa almonds, roasted almonds and cinnamon M&Ms. The cinnamon M&Ms were mine and my kids' favorite :)

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

So so good and a hit at all my holiday gatherings! I had no need to flatten these before baking. Stayed fresh and chewy for weeks, stored in "tupperware" on the counter. Will definitely make these again and again :)

Slow Cooker Reuben Dip

Fantabulous! I took this to a pot luck and it was a hit....had several people ask for the recipe. I used thinly sliced Boar's Head deli corned beef and can't wait to try it with leftover slow cooked corned beef.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Pretty good! My picky kid loved the root beer pork (that I set aside before adding the sauce). It was a bit bland, so next time I'll season the pork and maybe add an onion to the crock pot. Thanks for posting!

Strawberry Cheesecake

What an exceptional, light and fluffy cheesecake! Not too rich or sweet, but full of flavor and easily prepared with my KitchenAid mixer. You helped make my husband very happy with his birthday cheesecake :) Next time, though, I'll do something different with the crust since it fell apart and had little flavor. Thanks so much for the modified recipe!

Favorite Chocolate Cake

Wow, what a great chocolate cake! I used 2 squares semi-sweet and 1 square unsweetened chocolate based on the reviews. This fluffy chocolate cake was STILL moist after 8 days in the fridge. Definitely a keeper recipe, thanks!

Bacon Ranch Pea Salad

This is pretty good. After making as-is the first time, I've found we like it better with cubed extra sharp cheddar cheese, green onions, and equal parts spicy ranch to regular. This time I also added some halved grape tomatoes... Thanks for the post!

Scalloped Potatoes and Onions

I'm not sure why everyone was raving about the flavor of this recipe....I was very excited to try scalloped potatoes without milk, but these were bland. I sauteed the onion in butter before making the roux, used seasoned salt and white pepper, and stirred the sliced potatoes into the sauce mixture before pouring into the dish. Even with these changes we had to add garlic salt and shredded cheese to make them good. Also, the cooking time is WAY off! The potatoes were mush after only 1:20 and had a gluey consistency. I will make again though, with changes.

Beef Tips and Noodles

4 stars for this basic recipe that can be made as is for a quick, easy meal.... But next time I'll definitely add seasonings, more water or beef broth to make enough sauce for the (8 oz, not 16 oz) of noodles and saute onions, garlic and fresh mushrooms to add at the end of cook time instead of canned mushrooms.

Cocoa Banana Bars

Great recipe! Definitely a moist cake, not a bar, but nobody's complaining here :) I added mini chocolate chips to the banana batter and baked it in a bundt pan for about 30 minutes....then flipped it onto a plate and sprinkled with powdered sugar -- SO GOOD! Thanks for posting this easy and somewhat healthy (no oil!) dessert!

Sour Cream Pork Chops

Very very good, but he sauce wasn't thick and needed seasoning... I added some thyme and garlic. Will definitely make again, but use less stock (water+bouillon) and thicken with cornstarch instead of adding flour to the sour cream.

Three Packet Slow Cooker Roast

Springfield Style Cashew Chicken I

Slow Cooker Carnitas

YUM! So easy and incredibly versatile. I made this for a dinner party and served with yellow rice, black beans, tortillas, fresh salsa, guacamole and Amy's Cilantro Cream Sauce (also from this site). That cream sauce was the perfect accompaniment to these carnitas! Thanks so much for the post!
