Crab Snacks

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2010
this is an excellant snack everyone will love. My brothers favorite. you can freeze these, on baking sheet, then bag once they are frozed so they dont stick together. up broiling time to about 8 minutes (watch carefully ) then you have fancy snack ready to impress at anytime. ( I add a little garlic and use the canned crab as well)

Crispy Fried Fish

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2010
This was excellant. Better than Cronzy's my honey said! the kids were eating like a snack dipping into homemade tartar sauce before I could even get it on the table. I did change the crust some using crunched crackers as I was out of breadcrumbs. and I added steak spice to the crumbs a tbls for a little zip. took advice on using a cup at a time so as not to get crumbs all wet while dipping fish. and used a plate for crumbs, much better than using a bowl. will definately be making very soon again. Oh yeah, I used BASA fillets. Really thanks much for this recipe.

Easy Potato Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2009
this really was good. I had not made soup w sausage so was surprised. I did not have polish, so used Italian, and did not have potato flakes so subbed a few raw potatoes shredded. gave nice texture and I think probably better flavour than fake potatoes anyway. Really, we enjoed and will make again. Thank you.

Linguine with Clams

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2012
read all reviews and did add the bacon, and extra sour cream. also had some cilantro on hand and added a little with the parsley. Also, do not need to cook clams 20 minutes if you have let sauce reduce some before adding. Also topped with fresh grated parmesan. We love parm. thanks.and you don't have to use dry wine. I prefer pinot grigio or reisling so used the Pinot instead.

Honey Ribs

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2008
Excellant. would have posted picture but they got eaten before I had a chance. Appreciate not having to marinade for hours to get full flavour and fall off the bone. I did sub beer for water, and probably a little extra of everything else as had more ribs than recipe. Really good. shredded what I did have left with a little sauce for Honey to have on a bun. excellant rib sandwich.

I found it took longer to set up than the recipe stated. I did sub the condensed milk for the powdered sugar etc. Taste was excellant and the family loved it, even runny as they did not want to wait. better once set.

Great dish. I substituted chicken breast browned and sliced into bite size pieces for the steak and doubled the rest of the ingredients. This was a real hit. and nothing left. It looks good too, per the picture.
