Teriyaki and Pineapple Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2009
The fresh vegetables were great, but the teriyaki sauce and red pepper were a little strong for us. Next time I will use less sauce. This is a good basic recipe that you can easily suit to your family's taste. It makes a lot so you can have plenty for leftovers!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2008
These are the best blueberry muffins I've ever had. I doubled the recipe (excluding the streusel) and used brown sugar in the streusel instead of white. My husband was amazed!

Cran-Raspberry Jam

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2007
I can't believe I'm the first one to rate this recipe! I gave this out as christmas gifts and everyone loved it. I chopped up the cranberries a little, but other than that I followed the recipe exactly. I will definitely make this again.

Yummy Sweet Potato Casserole

Everyone was asking for seconds at our Thanksgiving meal. I used half-and-half instead of milk and almost doubled the recipe. I'm sure we will use this recipe for years to come.

Apple Cranberry Cider

This was a hit at our family thanksgiving gathering. I doubled the recipe and used a little less cranberry juice than the recipe called for. It had a beautiful red holiday glow and tasted delicious.

All-Day Apple Butter

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2006
It is my second fall to make apple butter, and this recipe is much better than the one I used last year. I'll be giving some of the apple butter away as Christmas gifts. I used mcintosh apples and almost all the sugar (since the apples are tart). I used my immersion blender to smooth it out before leaving the lid off. It turned out perfect. I only wish that it made more! I processed it in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes (yielded one pint and four 1/2-pint jars). Perhaps next year I will try doubling the recipe and cooking it on the stove since my crock pot will not hold any more. Thank you for the wonderful fall recipe!

Strawberry Delight Dessert Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2006
My husband and I really liked this recipe. It would be great for a potluck or party. Be sure to eat it in 2 days or less...any longer and it is just too soggy and runny.

Best Ever Caramel Apple Crisp

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2006
This recipe was absolutely wonderful. My husband even ventured to say that it just about beat his grandma's famous apple pie (an incredible feat, I must say). If you want a perfect fall treat, this is it! I used about 1/3 less butter in the topping than it called for, and served it with vanilla icecream. I gave the recipe to some of my family, and they agree with me - amazing!
