Easy Potato Soup

Quick and easy to make with staples you probably have in your pantry. A good comfort food for me on a cold day. I originally found a similar recipe in a woman's magazine, but lost it. I search the net and my recipe box without finding it, so I made up my own from memory and trial-and-error.
