Chewy Cocoa Brownies

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2010
I doubled the recipe. I used a little less flour and a little more cocoa. I'm not sure if I overcooked like it seemed like only 15mins but they are a little cakey.Next time I will add a little more butter to the mix. I also added chocolate chips to one pan and chocolate chips and toffee pieces to the other. Still satisfied my craving for brownies!

Honey-Garlic Glazed Meatballs

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2010
I made the meatballs w/o the chopped onion and added onion & garlic powder. Also used Italian breadcrumbs. I made around 50 meat balls so I froze them. I doubled the sauce and used garlic powder as well for that. I added about 1/2 cup more honey and also a little bit of Chili Garlic Sauce ( Vietnam stuff) which adds spice. I recommend tasting it as you cook the sauce because its all about personal preference. Overall delicious and ended up freezing the sauce, I want to use it on chicken on!

Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2010
The sauce I didn't think have a real BBQ flavor. I ended up adding almost a bottle of Head Country BBQ sauce. The one thing i did like is how it gave it spice. I would make it again, it was still delicious.

Creamy Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2010
Wonderful recipe. I used 1 cup of rice and added about 2 tablespoons of butter when boiling the water. I used about 1/2 cup more milk. The only tricky part was adding the egg. I tried to get some of the warm mixture and mix that with the egg first, then combined. I ended up with a couple little pieces of egg, that i just picked out. I added about a teaspoon or 2 of vanilla and cinnamon and also used some brown sugar. I also used long grain rice because I couldn't find medium. It is fantastic and will defiantly make it again

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2010
I let it rise for a couple hours then put it in the fridge. Next day I pulled it out and let it sit on the counter till room temp. I added some Italian spices and next time I will add more salt. It was the best dough I've ever made!

Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2009
It was amazing! I made it for my boyfriend, his brother and his girlfriend and they all loved it. I cooked the shrimp first in garlic removed it from heat so it wouldn't over cook while making the sauce. I did use more Parmesan because it wasn't thickening like I wanted, but once it started to cool it did thicken (a little too much lol, so I added milk). I will make this again indefinitely. Recipes are guidelines, experiment!
