Root Beer Pork Chops

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2011
My husband and I love these! I use diet root beer as we are watching our calories. I have made these twice in the past two weeks. These are by far one of the best pork chop recipes I have ever tried! Thanks for sharing!

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2008
Made these about a month ago for my husband who loves ginger cookies. The taste is out of this world. However my cookies ended up flat, still soft, but flat. There was no way possible to roll these cookies into a ball, not sure what I did wrong, except for using butter versus margarine? I guess it doesn't matter as they were so good, lasted only about 1-1/2 days before they were gone. I can't say they were Big Ginger Cookies either, but they were soft. I may have to attempt these again to see if I can get them to look like the picture, because mine didn't look anything like the picture and if there is one thing I can make that always turns out like a posted picture, it's cookies, except for these. These really are wonderful cookies.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2008
I made this for dinner last night and my husband just loved it. He would rate this a 5, but I am rating this a 3. I prefer my extremely simple lasagna recipe I have made for years that takes half the time to make that this does and due to the fact that I only eat lasagna about twice per year anyway. This is a good recipe and is definitely worth making, although like others, I did have some sauce left over, which wasn't enough to do anything with.

Sweet Mustard Chicken Bake

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2008
The only reason I am giving this a 4 instead of a 5 is because I don't care for it the way it is written. The first time I made this as the recipe is posted and found it to be way too sweet for our liking. I made the following adjustments: 1/4 cup melted butter, 1/4 cup dijon, 1/4 cup honey and 1/4 teaspoon pepper and the taste was out of this world and the best part of all, I can actually remember how much of everything without having to look it up everytime I make it!! This has got to be one of the easiest recipes on the site and can be adjusted to suit your own personal taste (s). This is one recipe I will be making for years to come!

Sensational Sirloin Kabobs

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2008
When going to visit my daughter in North Carolina, she had found this recipe on here and decided to try it. All I can say is boy am I glad she found it! These were spectacular. These were by far the best kabobs I have ever had. My daughter has made these several times as have I. I have stopped looking for the perfect beef kabob recipe. Thank you for the wonderful recipe!!!

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2008
This chicken was absolutely wonderful. It had just the right amount of seasoning and was so moist and fell off the bone! We saved a lot of time cutting it up that way! My 90-year-old grandmother just loved this chicken, which says a lot, as she is a VERY FUSSY eater and let's me know what a recipe needs a little more of or a little less of. I took her a whole one of her own and while I was sitting there, she ate half of it, she just couldn't put it down, which says a lot! Try this recipe, you won't be disappointed!!!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2008
I have made this several times now (in fact we are having this for supper tonight) and this is by far the BEST teriyaki chicken I have ever had. My husband requests this recipe often. I will never buy teriyaki sauce/marinade out of a bottle again, as the taste doesn't even compare to this. The only thing I do different is lower the oven temperature to 350 when I bake it. Thank you for the wonderful recipe!

BBQ NY Strip

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2008
My husband and I had this last night and I have to say that this is the BEST we have ever had. I marinated it for 8 hours and used Mrs. Dash for the steak seasoning since I don't care for salty foods. I cut the ingredients in half since it is just my husband and I, but otherwise I followed the recipe exactly as is.

Pretty Chicken Marinade

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2008
With all the good reviews, I figured I couldn't go wrong trying this recipe. I followed the recipe exactly as written, used low sodium soy sauce and only marinated for four hours. This just didn't have much flavor, seemed to be missing something. My husband and I didn't care for this at all. Sorry to say, I will not be making this one again.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2008
I made these muffins yesterday and my husband and his son devoured 8 of the 12 that it made. The crumb topping is definitely out of this world! The only thing I did different was add 2 cups of blueberries instead of 1 because I had to use them up. Next time when I make them, I would cut it down to 1-1/2 cups of blueberries. This recipe has already been placed in my recipe book! Thank you for posting it!!
