Herb Rubbed Sirloin Tip Roast

This was great! I was nervous, thinking it would be dry but it was juicy and delicious. It did not make au ju for me though, that all dried up as it cooked.

Butterscotch Deluxe Pie

This was delicious! I used regular not quick cooking oats for the crust and that didn't work out that well so next time I'll get quick oats or premade crust but the filling was perfect. For the reviewer who's pie didn't set - whipping the whipping cream before folding it in is an important step, it won't set if you don't do that. I will definitely make this again.

Barb's Chocolate Cake

I have to admit that after reading some the other reviews I was a little leary because they are so conflicting. That said this was the best chocolate cake I have ever had. I think those who found it to be dry/crumbly either overbaked it or refrigerated it before eating. If you put it in the fridge 10 seconds in the mirowave make a slice wonderful again. My chocolate cake recipe search ends here, will make again and again!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

This is definitely the best rolled sugar cookie recipe. We just decorated them with colored sugar and they were really good. Sugar cookies are bland in general for those who had that complaint, but I thought these had a really good flavor for being sugar cookies. I did have to work a little more flour in to roll it out but I'd rather that than a crumbley dough any day. We will make these over and over they are PERFECT!

Easy Biscuit Mixture

Mushroom Rice Pilaf

This is a favorite at my house! I've made it 2 or 3 times so far and everyone loves it. The only thinkg I did differently is to use chicken broth instead of the water/boullion.

Honey Glazed Ham

I basted the ham about every 20 minutes and it was wonderful. I think it may be the best I've had, definitely the best I've ever made. I will never try another recipe for baked ham, I had a 15 lb ham and I only had enough stuff to make one batch of the glaze, it got the job done but next time I will double it, this time I just basted it from the bottom of the pan when what I had on the stove ran out.

Pineapple Pretzel Salad

Wow, so good, everyone loved it! I have made this as written and we loved it that way too but usually I break up the pretzel crust (as another reviewer suggested) and mix everything together. Also, I use the whole packet of pudding mix.

Snickerdoodles III

Yum!! I've never had snickerdoodles before and these were great. I used this recipe because it didn't use shortening and I'm glad I did. I did use 4T sugar and 4tsp cinnamon, I had a bit left over but it was easy to roll them in; I think I'll do 3T/3t next time. I also used 1 tsp white vinegar in place of the cream of tartar that I didn't have.

Old Fashioned Pineapple Upside-Down Cake

I've made this recipe exactly as written for several years now. My family loves it. I've seen a lot of reviews that are not happy with the batter before baking. When you fold in the yolks and dry ingredients you have to keep folding it until it is blended evenly. If you are putting it into the oven with yolk stripes and dry flour your cake isn't going to come out. Also, I use a skillet but it's not cast iron and it takes longer than 35 minutes to bake, probably closer to 45-50 minutes. I really love this cake!

Chocolate Cake I
