Strawberry Cake from Scratch

I made this cake (as cupcakes) for my daughters birthday party. It was fantastic! I ate some of them without frosting and it was still the best cake I've ever had. I was nervous after reading how moist it was but the cupcakes held together nicely.

Chocolate Crinkles II

These were a big hit at our house. I did put them in the freezer for an hour like many suggested and they weren't too sticky, not bad to work with. They crinkled very nicely and looked just like the picture! We will definitely make these again, hubby would like to try nuts in them.

Great Tater Rounds

Maybe I didn't shred them finely enough but they didn't stick together even a little. We ended up making hash browns because we had to use the shredded potato for something but I won't try this again.

One Bowl Chocolate Cake II

This cake was easy and tasted great! I admit I did over bake it a little but it was still very good, next time I'll check the oven sooner. I'll definitely use this recipe again.

Homemade Pizza Supreme

We weren't happy with the bake then top then bake some more results, it was too crunchy for our liking. We top the raw dough then bake at 350 for 30 mins now.

Cheese, Chicken, and Rice Casserole

This is a family favorite at our house. I use regular cream of mushroom soup not reduced fat and I don't put bread chunks on top - just the cheese. I usually use the casserole mix shredded cheese but it's great with cheddar-jack or just cheddar. I don't use reduced fat cheese either.

Rita's Sweet Holiday Baked Ham

This ham had a good flavor but after 2 hours the temp had only gotten to like 70, after almost 3 hours it was just over 100 and realizing it was already fully cooked we ate it. So I'm thinking there is no way the temp would get to 160 in just 2 hours cooking it at 350 but after 2 hours it probably was warm enough to eat.

Cinnamon Mini-Muffins

I thought that these were quite good. My family loved them especially my 4-yr-old. I made them pretty much exactly according to the recipe but I used butter, I think next time I will try 3/4 tsp nutmeg as suggested by another reviewer.

Creamy Frosting

It tasted great and never curdled or anything like that but thickening on the stove took forever, I know it's supposed to but I hate that part. Totally worth it for this yummy icing. I followed the "extra" directions from JustMe and it was perfect.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Wow! I this recipe was wonderful, the whole family LOVED it! I made it without any changes and even my picky 4 yr-old who hates fish had like 3 servings (we told him it was just "white meat"). Will definitely make again.

Barb's Chocolate Cake

I have to admit that after reading some the other reviews I was a little leary because they are so conflicting. That said this was the best chocolate cake I have ever had. I think those who found it to be dry/crumbly either overbaked it or refrigerated it before eating. If you put it in the fridge 10 seconds in the mirowave make a slice wonderful again. My chocolate cake recipe search ends here, will make again and again!

Sage Pork Chops

This was ok. I made it as it's written. The gravey was good but the sage/pepper flavor was a little stronger than I like. I might make this again and put the pepper, salt and sage into the buillon and see how it turns out like that.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

This is definitely the best rolled sugar cookie recipe. We just decorated them with colored sugar and they were really good. Sugar cookies are bland in general for those who had that complaint, but I thought these had a really good flavor for being sugar cookies. I did have to work a little more flour in to roll it out but I'd rather that than a crumbley dough any day. We will make these over and over they are PERFECT!
