Lighter Banana Muffins

I liked that this was a healthier recipe than most :) The texture was a little off but then again I'm still trying to figure out my new oven (a very old tempermental gas oven).... Will make again and work with some different ingredients to make it even better. Used an extra banana and added some cinnamon.

Lemon Icebox Pie III

Very good. I made this for my boyfriend because it is his favorite kind of pie and I didnt have a recipe. Used the Graham Cracker Crust I on this site and it turned worked quite well - much better than store bought :) The pie seemed a little heavy - may substitute 4 oz of heavy cream whipped for a package of cream cream (or just add it in - because it adds no extra calories right?) I tasted the filling and thought it could be more tart; however, after the pie sat a day the flavor was excelent! I will be making this again!

Aileen's Punch

This was so good. I served it at a graduation party and had many requests for the recipe. One person commented that they don't like apricot but really liked this punch. It was perfect, not too sweet and it doesn't leave a funny taste in your mouth like some punches. I will be making this punch again!

I didnt know what to expect with this recipe, but it turned out pretty good. I didnt really like them plain, but I used them in an Orange Tiramisu Recipe from Bon Appetit Magazine. It was delicious!

Best Lemonade Ever

Perfect!! I was looking for a lemonade that was light, perfect for a summer day, and not too sweet. This was it. The only thing I changed was reducing the sugar to only 1 cup, my family liked it although its all personal preference. Thanks for the recipe!

Raspberry Meringue Pie

This pie is delicious! The raspberry and meringue was very light, perfect for a summer day...just what I was looking for! The crust was a little soggy, so next time I will probably bake it a little before hand.

Five Spice Muffins

These were a very good and held together well, not dry or crumbly. I followed one reviewer's suggestion and halved all the dry spices, it was perfect. I don't know if I like the sunflower seeds in them, I'm going to try a different nut, maybe walnuts or pecans. Everyone in my family loved them! Thanks for the recipe!

Pumpkin Soup

This soup was amazing. I have never had pumpkin soup before and I was pleasantly suprised:) I used milk thickened with about a tablespoon or so and flour because I didn't have any cream in the house. Thanks for the recipe!

Pumpkin Spice Latte

I tried this recipe not really knowing what to expect. The pumpkin flavor was not very distinct and all of the pumpkin sank to the bottom of my glass. It almost tasted like a chai latte. I probably will not try this again.

Poke Cake II

This recipe is very good and easy to make. I have made it with the white cake mix and strawberry jello and it was excellent. Also, I just made this with a chocolate cake mix and black cherry jello. It tasted like a black forest cake, very delicious. I plan to try it with a coconut cake and lime jello. Thanks for the recipe.

Irish Bannock

I was looking for a lower fat scone recipe that didn't use so much butter. These were very good. I followed the recipe except I used oil instead of butter, but the dough was very sticky and couldn't be kneeded, so I just mixed with a spoon and put it right onto the greased cookie sheet...didn't have any currants, so I used dried cranberries. Next time might try adding grated orange peel. Thanks for this wonderful recipe!

Curried Couscous Salad

I made a few changes to this recipe and it was very good. I served it with chicken and it was delicious. I used white wine vinegar in place of cidar vinegar, 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil (not 1/4 cup), and omitted the bacon. To cut back on preparation time, do not thaw peas, just add them directly to the hot couscous, as they thaw they will cool the couscous. I look forward to making this again!!

Restaurant Style Egg Drop Soup

Very good, didn't change a thing. Tastes like the kinda in restaurants. Make sure you add the egg VERY SLOWLY while stiring to achieve the right texture.

I found these very easy to make. My recipe made about twice as many(I think). They were very good. Also if you want try adding different spices, such as Italian seasoning or rosemary.

Banana Pancakes II

These pancakes were very good...healthy. I've tried different recipes for banana pancakes but these turned out the best. A good way to use ripe bananas. I definately recommend these.
