Chicken Pot Pie IX

Excellent with the changes I made. Brown chicken in olive oil, set aside and cut into cubes. Sauted onion in olive oil and butter. Followed others directions and doubled the sauce. Did not double the spices. Cooked vegetables in chicken stock. Used 3 small potatos, carrots and green beans. Added 1/2 tsp of garlic powder instead of the celery seed. Mixed everything before putting it to the pie crust. Baked at 375 for 45 minutes. Perfect!

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

I love this recipe! I follow other reviewers comments and double the sauce. I also replace the fresh ginger with 1 teaspoon of ground ginger for the doubled recipe because I don't like a strong ginger taste. I add a dash of chili oil in place of the hot sauce. I've cooked this with larger pieces of chicken and it comes out fine, especially with the extra sauce. I make this again and again.

Baked Beef Stew

Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

I added some pats of butter(unsalted) to the bottom of the crockpot before adding my 3 lb turkey breast. Came out very salty. If I make this again, I will reduce the amount of dry onion soup mix or use a different brand. Kids loved it though!

Chicken Satay

Way too salty! I tasted the marinade before I placed the chicken in and it was much too salty. I added more brown sugar and peanut butter until it was passable. Let it marinate overnight and BBQ'd the next day. Still too much salt. If I make it again, I will start with 1/2 the curry (which I love the taste of) and use low sodium soy sauce. Then I'll taste it and go from there.

Alice's Sour Cream Chicken Breasts

We simmered chicken with 2 chopped garlic cloves, added salt and pepper to the sauce and served over rice and steamed brocolli. Yummy!!
