The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2008
I made these cookies for easter....turned out great. My mother could not stop eating them. Sent a few dozen to my husband's work...all gone! This is a true old fashioned sugar cookie.

Feta Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2007
This recipe was very good. My husband who does usually like feta, really enjoyed it. I gave it four stars because it could be better with non seasoned bread crumbs, this would make it less salty.....fresh basil would be perfect! I used a lot more bread crumbs for the crispier outside. Great recipe.

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2007
I added clementine oranges, fresh thyme, and fresh rosemary to the cavity. I cooked a 12lb turkey about 4.5 hrs at 325-350...removed the foil during the last 30 minutes. I did baste every hour or so.....delicious! This was so moist! I will be making this bird every year!

Irish Boiled Dinner (Corned Beef)

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2006
Excellent, easy, one pot meal. Sour Cream on the side makes the meat taste out of this world. Boiling in a pot really makes the difference;do not try to cook in a crock pot unless you have at least 10-12 hours.

Colcannon

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2006
This recipe was a bit of a mess to make but tasted good. It is not a very pretty dish for presentation, but then again it is supposed to represent traditional country food-filling and nutritious. Will stick to your ribs!

Irish Soda Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2006
This was my first time to bake bread. It turned out perfect...it is very beautiful. Looks gourmet. I did not have Caraway Seeds so I left them out. The 3 cups of raisins is just right.

Bacon Wrapped Smokies

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2006
I made these last year for a Xmas family gathering. My husband and I enjoyed them a great deal, however...my crock pot was still pretty full by the end of the evening. Maybe a little to greasy looking for some people? I just do not know why they were not a hit.
