really great. I changed it a bit I added beef broth (I had in the fridge)to the meatballs. I had no tomato paste so I used a can of Tomato soup to 1 can of water. I also added some Italian seasoning to the soup mix. With the slight changes the reviews were great. Everyone enjoyed it including Mr. Fussy (the 8 year old) definitly A KEEPER

Mexican Rice III

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2009
Excellent recipie on it's own however i did fry up 6 slices of bacon and used the bacon grease instead of olive oil. I also cheated and used a can of spicy red pepper tomatoes (aylmers) and dropped the cumin. This is in the rotation and requested almost every week. Left overs are zipped up by adding cubed cooked chicken and you have yet another fantastic meal. Alanasmom thank you so much for such a versatile recipie that is well loved

Spanish Rice II

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2009
Mmmmmm this was a hit in our house. I served this with tacos. I did however substitute it a bit. I fried 6 slices of bacon and used the bacon fat instead of oil. I also used a can of Aylmer spicy red pepper tomatoes and skipped the chilli powder. My husband wanted it again in 2 days a great hit. Thank you for this posting.
