About this Cook
I'm 19 and I love cooking & baking.
My favorite things to cook
I love baking and making anything tasty.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We eat a lot of takeout but when we're not eating out, it's either chinese dish or some type of chicken dish (sweet soy sauce YUM!!, honey mustard, roasted, salt crusted)
My cooking triumphs
First time making tiramisu and chicken marsala was a huge success and a huge cooking-ego boost as well :)
My cooking tragedies
Back in high school I used to make chocolate chip cookies many many times and each time the cookies had a "buttery/oily" taste and smell. One day, I realized after baking it with unsalted butter for the first time that the taste was from my salted margarine.

Tater Crisp Chicken
This is either a hit or a miss kind of recipe. Unfortunately it was a miss for me. I added salt, pepper, chili powder, paprika, and onion powder and it still didn't taste that great. Its hard to not burn the potato layer since I had huge chicken legs for this recipe. I don't think I would try this again.

Baked Salmon II
I personally don't like fish but I made this for my parents who is a big fan of fish. I didn't have salmon at home so I used Basa fillets and followed the exact recipe. Very easy to make and my parents loved it

Shepherd's Pie VI
Very easy and very good! To save time, I used Sidekick's Instant mashed potatoes instead. Also, I did not use cheese because I didn't have cheese in the house but I followed the vegetable and meat part of the recipe. I would recommend to season the ground beef and add a bit of Worcestershire Sauce to it for a better taste. Other than that, this is a great recipe.
