Easy Iced Coffee

Awesome. I don't usually drink instant coffee but will start keeping it on hand just for this. The only change I would make is a personal preference...I like my iced coffee a little sweeter so maybe next time will add a little more sugar or some creamer. Thanks for the great recipe!

Broccoli Cheese Soup V

Great recipe! My 3 year old is a fanatic about broccoli cheese soup and I wanted to make him some and this is exactly what I was looking for. I did follow some of the other suggestions and added some cheddar in place of the Velveeta and it was great. I thought it was even better than the kind you get in the restaurant because it had more broccoli. So good, thanks!

Easy Slow Cooker Chicken

I thought this was just ok, a little bland for my taste. I did add some broccoli as per the other suggestions. I think it has potential though, I would maybe try adding some onion and maybe use potatoes instead of rice. Good starting recipe just needs some work.

Honeyed Pork Chops

This was good. I think it may have been even better for it to marinade for a few hours. The only change I made was to cover it while cooking. I tend to think pork just comes out more tender when covered in the oven. Great recipe!

Slow Cooker Vegetable Beef Soup

Great recipe! The only change I made was to add a few bay leaves and I didn't add salt while cooking, just let people add it at the table, it only needed a little. I will make this again.

Iowa Pork Steak

This was fantastic! The meat was so tender and the flavor was awesome. I took one of the other suggestions and tossed some quartered potatoes in with it. They went very well with the gravy. This will become a regular in our house!

Ignacio's Super Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich

This is a great idea! I am 4 months pregnant and am ALWAYS hungry so pb&j are a major staple these days, because they are quick and easy and I need the protein from the peanut butter. This makes it a little less boring and I love the crunchy in the middle. My son loved it too!

Sweet Potato Souffle I

This had a very good flavor, I think I may have done something wrong though, it didn't have the texture I thought it would. It was somewhat runny. I did use canned sweet potatoes so that may have been why, but I drained them very well. I will try this again using baked sweet potatoes. Otherwise, fantastic!

Chicken Chimi in the Oven

My family and I didn't care for these. I think it was the cinnamon, it just didn't taste good. I like the idea of baking them with the olive oil, they turned out nice and crisp. I will use that idea again, but make my own filling.

Fluffy Peanut Butter Pie by EAGLE BRAND®

Great recipe. I had unfortunately never dealt with whipping cream before, so I did not whip it enough. Therefore the filling did not set quite right. However, it still tasted great. I will make this again, only I will correct my mistake this time!

Aunt Jewel's Chicken Dressing Casserole

I think this is a good starting recipe. The only variation I made from original recipe was to add veggies to the soup mix. I did not care for the flavor of the soup mix, I think it may have been the cream of celery. I think I would make this again only I will use either cream of broccoli or broccoli cheese soup and add broccoli pieces.

Beef Stew II

This was OK, but WAY too watery for a stew. I only used 3 cups of water, and thickened it up with more flour at the end of cooking and it was still not as thick as I would like stew to be. I may make this again but will use less water and will probably add potatoes.

Deviled Eggs

At first I thought I wasn't going to like these...the consistency didn't seem as creamy as what I was used to, but once I tried them they tasted very good. I took the others' advice and only used a small amount of salt and I put a bit more mayo in...maybe 1/3 cup or a little more. They turned out great, I will make these again.

Baked Spaghetti

Great starting recipe...I agree that either less pasta or more sauce needs to be used, if it weren't for that I would have given 5 stars. The only change I made was to add fresh mushrooms and it was great. Next time I will decrease amount of pasta and maybe add some other veggies.

Cold Macaroni and Tuna Salad

I made changes to this after reading the other reviews. I added onion and used nature's seasoning and lemon juice. I also used light mayo. I will make this again the same way but will omit the peas as I didn't care for them. I might try celery or carrots instead. My husband loved it though especially with the onion!

Basic Chicken Salad

Great recipe! Good meal for warm weather. We ate this on croissants. I think it would be good with raisins or grapes too, something to give it a little sweetness.
