Drop Biscuits and Gravy

I personally used bisquick to make drop biscuits (just easier) yet I flavour them with dill and rosemary. For the sausage, this is a great starter but I do prefer more gravy to sausage than this gave me. With some tinkering, this has been wonderful!!!

Super Sausage Gravy

Cut the Sausage in half but everything remained the same - excellent flavor!! I was really worried that this was never going to thicken up (it was REALLY runny) but it turned out delicious. Paired with fresh biscuits... it's absolutely divine!

Lemon Poppy Seed Bundt Cake

BIG HIT WITH THE FAMILY! Very moist! I used lemon flavoured pudding mix as some others have suggested and halved the poppy seed count. Other than that, I used a simple glaze of milk and confectioner's sugar - totally yummy!!

Clark's Quiche

FANTASTIC!! I did mod the recipe a little - I halved everything in addition to omitting the onion, ham and parmesan cheese. Instead, we added some chopped red peppers, used Kraft Mexican blend shredded cheese and just added more bacon than called for here. This came out beautifully and my two guests LOVED it. Thanks!!

Butter Snow Flakes

Not too bad! I had a hardtime using my cookie press for these, however - the dough was a little too crumbly. I added a little bit of orange extract to lighten it up and just went with rolled cookies instead of shapes. They got rave reviews at a work function!

Cucumber Sandwiches III

WONDERFUL! The spread takes the cake, in this recipe. Infact, it tastes like an expensive spread I used to buy to put on garlic toasted bagle bites from a small bakery years ago; they advertised it as a veggie spread and it cost $6 a pound!! YIKES! This is almost identical and tastes great on sandwiches and crackers alike (even without the cucumbers!) Thanks!

Simple Scones

Simply Devine!!! Perfect and EASY recipe to make whenever that is devine on your taste buds and makes you very satisfied. I used craisins and 1/4 tsp of orange EXTRACT and this came out WONDERFUL. Paired with strawberry preserves and clotted cream, this is devine! PS - don't forget to have a cup of tea!

Easy Devonshire Cream

Not Bad! I've had real Devonshire/Clotted Cream and for not being able to find it easily (or even at a reasonable price) this does the trick! Next time, however, I think I'll up the heavy cream content just a bit to rid the end produt of the cream cheese after taste. Thank you!!

Cranberry Sauce Extraordinaire

I used walnuts instead of pecans and it turned out wonderfully. Next time I will tone down the sugar a bit, this was much too sweet but still yummy!

Maple Roast Turkey

Good recipe - the gravy was a little too sweet for my family but other than that, don't expect too much of a maple-ish flavour although this makes the turkey very moist and wonderful.

Pumpkin Cranberry Bread

Awesome flavor. I cut the sugar in half though and it came out wonderfully. Also, it only took me about 40 minutes to bake (wowza!) so make sure you keep an eye on it!
