Cheesiest Potato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2008
Delicious and super easy! Did not use the blender or processor - just mashed the potatoes with a masher and it was fine. Served with lots of bacon bits on top and green onions. Rave reviews from the husband too!

Italian Sausage Soup with Tortellini

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2008
good and more "brothy" and hearty than I expected it to be. I used sundried tomato & basil chicken sausage from Trader Joe's and there was NO fat to speak of and the flavor was great!

Italian Sausage Tortellini Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2008
Very good and flavorful. I used Trader Joe's sundried tomato & basil chicken sausage instead of pork sausage - a bit healthier and there was really no fat from browning the chicken sausage. I forgot the green pepper and didn't really miss it!

Beer Cheese Soup III

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2008
This recipe was better than I expected. Nice and thick consistency - very hearty. However, I would call it vegetable beer cheese soup - it's loaded with veggies! Next time, I will only use potatoes, celery & broccoli. Also, make sure to chop the potatoes small enough - mine did not seem to cook and I had the soup on the stove for almost an hour overall.

Snowballs

good christmas cookies! Just like I remember. I agree to roll the dough twice in the powdered sugar - once right after the cookies come out of the oven and then again a few minutes later.

Mini Crescent Burgers

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2007
YUM!!! This recipe would get 10 stars if I were able! What a perfect addition to a football party or an informal cocktail party....I followed the other person's suggestion by using american cheese slices (instead of cheddar) and also added a pickle to each roll. Delicious! I however found that one pound of meat was not enough for three cans of crescent rolls. For just a dinner for the family, I would use 3/4 lb. of meat for two cans of crescent rolls. Excellent recipe to have!

Super easy and delicious! Made with about one cup of chopped apricots and a half cup of coconut instead of raisins. Tastes better than store bought granola bars!

Changed the format to 24 muffins instead of bread - baked for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Delicious!! Tastes almost like ambrosia....also, it is a very easy recipe - no mixer required!

Pumpkin Gingerbread

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2006
I agree that the spices need to be done at 1 1/2 times the amount listed on the recipe. It is then very good....great for holiday gifts! I normally get about 6 or 7 mini bread loaves out of one recipe here.
