Honey Peanut Dressing

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2012
I would give this recipe 10 stars if I could! it was amazing and had my husband and children going back for seconds (and thirds) of salad last night. The Salad I put it on was just plain baby spinach and other mixed greens. I topped with toasted almonds, just because its what I had on hand. I made a second batch today and added left over grilled chicken to the mix. OHHHHHHHHH so good! This should be a secret recipe but thank you so much for sharing!

Zucchini Cake III

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2010
so, so good!!!! Only made a couple of changes because of the mood was in. All I had was a 20 oz can of crushed pineapple and I didn't want any to go o wate s I drained it and added all the fruit. To compensate for the extra moisture I only used a half of a cup of the oil. I alsoadded about a tsp of ground gingr and an extra half teaspon of cinnamon for more of a spiced flavor. Great recipe!

Cream Cheese Frosting II

Delish! Smooth and super easy. I did cut the recipe in half for a 13x9 cake and it was just the perfect amount.

Shrimp Kisses

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2006
I have been making this tasty little app for awhile. Butterflying the shrimp is not necessary. I also use pepper jack cheese which adds just a little kick. While I dont think there is much you can do with the cheese melting out a little, Ive noticed that if you use the half of bacon that isn't so "lacy" it works better. Also if you broil this treat for about 5-7 minutes instead of baking, the bacon crips up quite nicely. It is very delicious and guests go nuts for them!

Caramel Pretzel Nut Popcorn

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2006
I made this today for Christmas gift baskets. It made a lot of treats and turned out great. I did bake it on parchment lined cookie sheets for a few minutes after pouring on the carmel. I will make it again, but next time I think I will put 1/2 of the popcorn mixture on the bottom of the bag, then half of the carmel, half popcorn, half carmel. I think it will probably mix easier that way. I will also use the suggestion of spraying the bag with pam to avoid too much stickage. No loss - I just ate the stuck stuff while backing the rest of the batch... Great Recipe!

Chocolate Cavity Maker Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2006
Delish! I made this cake for a dinner party I was attending and everyone really enjoyed. I topped the cake with the "satiny chocolate glaze" from this website. I do believe it needed some sort of topping. I think a cherry pie filling would taste excelent on top.

Puerto Rican Pork Roast

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2006
I was having a large birthday party for my son and wanted a unique main dish that could feed a lot of people. I tried this recipe, and used the suggestion of adding a little vinegar to the garlic paste as other reviewers had done. IT WAS AWESOME! Everyone loved it and since the party I've been getting calls for the recipe. this is a very economical way to feed a lot of people. The 20 servings cost about $15 to make. GREAT RECIPE! update: I have made this recipe several times since the birthday party. It's my go-to pork recipe! Want delicious pulled pork sandwiches or pork tacos? Put the roast in the slow cooker all day, and then use two forks to shred the meat..... AMAZING!!!
