Daria's Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2009
This was so far the best stroganoff recipe I've used on this website. Not an authentic since authentic is done on the stove top.

Szechwan Shrimp

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2009
The recipe was fine, my problem started when I read people's suggestion. Never again will I be using frozen broccoli. Fresh definitely the next time. Not sure what people were thinking by using frozen. I also used frozen uncooked shrimp with tails removed. Never used raw shrimp before, definitely the way to go.

Peppy's Pita Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2009
The only problem I had with this which was my own fault entirely was that I baked it too long. Otherwise, very easy and way way better than store bought. I definitely will be making this again.

Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2009
This was amazing...I went along with what people suggested and sautéed carrots, celery and onion at the beginning. Also cut up four raw chicken breasts into bite size pieces and sautéed it with the onion mixture. The rest of the recipe I did as is. This was definitely guest quality soup.

Sweet and Sour Chicken I

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2009
My daughter spit this out and I had to make something different for her to eat. The only alterations I made was use all purpose flour and I accidentally used fresh pineapple versus canned. I also don't like using food coloring. The green peppers were raw which was by far the worst aspect of this meal.

Italian Roast Beef I

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2009
I have never used a rump before and never will ever again. Even though i had it in a slow cooker for ten hours it had a bizarre texture not so good. Perhaps if the cut of meat was better this recipe would have been better.

Roasted Vegetables

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2009
Good....nothing crazy amazing but pretty good. I didn't use squash..instead used carrots. The cooking time was a lot longer. I think the whole thing took an hour and a half. I added the tender veggies last 15 minutes.

World's Best Lasagna

unbelievable....I tried this recipe for my daughters birthday. And I got so many compliments it was insane. I had to email a bunch of people this recipe. The only thing I did different was instead of sausage I used ground beef.

The lentils cook very quickly - recipe did not indicate this. Very mushy.

Really enjoyed this recipe. Tasted like something my mother used to make. A nice alternative to a beef stew and a lot healthier.

Garlic Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2008
This was super amazing!!! The chicken was very moist...everyone loved it. Altered the recipe just a tad bit...Added Garlic under the skin, also cut up carrots, potato, garlic around the chicken. Great with a rice, simple green salad and steamed frozed green peas.

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2008
This was great. I used a little more garlic than the recipe called for. Made spinach fettuccini on the side and steamed broccolini. Yummy. Very good meal all together.
