Simple Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2002
Let's just say there wasn't much room left in anyone for dinner. :) This involves very little effort and tastes fantastic w/any type of cracker or chip. Definitely use Hellmann's. Thanks Dawn!

Garlic Green Beans

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2001
These are definitely tasty. Use fresh green beans to achieve full flavor. I followed a previous review by sprinkling crumbled bacon on top and omitting the cheese. 3 cloves of garlic is sufficient. Thanks for a good recipe!

Homesteader Cornbread

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2001
I made muffins for Thanksgiving and they came out very good. However, they don't stay too well. Later in the day they could've been weapons, but that may have been due to the cold weather. I will definitely make again just to be sure!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2001
These are fantastic!! I love how you can play around with the flavors. It's now day 2 and they're even better. Caution: Don't underbake (10 mins), or they come out TOO soft & fall apart easily. I can't thank you enough Debbi - my search is over!

Artichoke Tetrazzini

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2001
This is really yummy. I too used LOL Fat Free Half & Half and it still turned out nice & thick. Next time I will add some chicken I think. Great recipe!

Chicken Noodle Casserole I

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2001
This was good - my boyfriend LOVED it, but I thought that the sour cream kinda overpowered the sauce. Maybe I'll use less next time. I used only 1/4 cup butter and it turned out fine. On the other hand, it was fantastic the day after!! I guess that's because it had time to congeal :) Thanks!

Pumpkin Cake II

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2001
This is awesome. I used Smucker's Baking Alternative instead of oil, and Egg Beaters in place of eggs (to be cholesterol-friendly), and it was still unbelievably moist. I also had no cinnamon, so I used pumpkin pie spice. Note: Add some chocolate chips if you want some kick. Fantastic!

Angel Pudding

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2001
I used only chocolate pudding and layered it with Cool Whip and Skor candy bits instead. I topped it off with more Cool Whip and candy. It was the first dessert to go at the cookout I brought it to; everyone raved. Thanks for the idea!! :)

Blueberry Almond Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2001
Definitely reminded me of a blueberry muffin, but still good. I melted buttercream frosting and glazed each for added sweetness. They were gone in 3 days :)

Babe Ruth Bars

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2001
I'm sorry to say these didn't taste like the candy bar at all to me. As a matter of fact, they tasted more like peanut butter bars than anything else. However, they are VERY easy to make and I'm sure they'd be a real kid-pleaser.

Pretzel Chicken Chunks

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2000
Fantastic. I made these for a Christmas gathering and everyone loved them! One recommendation: If making for children, use regular honey mustard over the dijon - depending on the brand, it can be spicy!
