Spicy Maryland Crab Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2010
This was a hit at two different parties i took it to. I put it together the day before. The am of, I moved into a bread bowl and 30 mins prior to people showing, i put it in the toaster oven on 325. i would say about 25 mins is perfect for it. I served it with townhouse crackers and the remaining bread from the inside of the bowl. It was delish!

Spicy Grilled Shrimp

Reviewed: May 4, 2009
We broiled these and marinated them for about an hour ahead of time. For us, we liked it in a salad with a vinagrette type dressing, and alone, it was okay...but not the most flavorful as we expected. It was an easy and quick marinade to make with things around the house, so that was nice, I may add a bit more cayenne next time for a lil more zip... overall I would make it again, its a nice base to personalize..

Cajun Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2009
LOVE LOVE LOVED it! I only used 1 cup heavy cream and omitted the mushrooms and peppers. I also tried with shrimp but felt the chicken held the cajun better! Thank you so much- it really does taste like something you would get in a restaraunt!

Chocolate Trifle

Reviewed: May 1, 2008
I made this and it was wonderful. It was exactly what we were looking for to end our BBQ. It was a bit sweet so I think I will try the whipping cream idea instead of cool whip.

Sesame Beef

Reviewed: May 1, 2008
My family enjoyed this recipe. To me, it was a bit too sweet, and I steamed some fresh broccoli and peppers and added it. I can't imagine it without veggies in it, as the juice was qutie runny. Overall a decent beef recipe.

Szechwan Shrimp

Reviewed: May 1, 2008
I really enjoy this recipe, quick and easy to make. The only thing that I find is that it thickens way up immediately, so we tend to add a little less cornstarch as we like it a bit runnier to soak into the rice.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: May 1, 2008
I LOVED this recipe. I am blown away!!! I did use the suggested changes in the crust- cinnamon, graham crumbs, sugar and butter, and found it to be a wonderful surprise when you got to the crust. I used all items at room temp and put it in for exactly an hour. We did take it out after two hours, and the middle was still too soft. We put it in the fridge and waited till the next day and my goodness, the wait was well worth it, in fact, we tend to think on the 3rd day it was even better!!! We cooked it at 350 in the water bath and did the two layers of foil (though water still got in there, it didn't ruin it thankfully). My mother- who is NEVER impressed, went off her diet to have more than one piece EACH night we had it!!!

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2006
I read the reviews, and was still skeptical, however, one bite of this dish proved me sooooo wrong!!! My husband was also skeptical because he just had food poisoning from fish not too long ago, but this really was as easy and as tastey as it said!!!
