Slow Cooker Barbecue Ribs

My husband and I loved this! I did as others suggested and replaced the ketchup with BBQ sauce and ketchup with the chili sauce. Everything else stayed the same. I will make these again and again.

Chicken Stroganoff

My family did not care for this recipe. The amount of sour cream vs. soup made it well...sour. I will not make this again.

I made this for the Super Bowl and it was a hit! I doubled the recipe except the bacon. I used 1 pk fresh bacon crumbles (located next to the regular bacon bits) that I believe was 4.3 oz. I served it with carrot, celery, red bell pepper and Ruffles.

Spinach Dip with Water Chestnuts

This is the classic spinach dip (also available on the Knor Vegetable mix package). I made this for a Christmas Eve party last year and made it again for a football party last weekend. It was a huge hit both times. I served it with tortilla chips and French bread.

Black Bean, Corn and Turkey Chili

Yummy, yummy, yummy!! I made this two weekends ago. The entire time my 6.5yr old told me she didn't like chili...I made her try it and she LOVED it! I made it again this past weekend at her request. We topped it with sour cream and cheese and I served corn chips. This is a very easy recipe. Try it...you won't be disappointed.

Maple Pumpkin Cheesecake

I made this two years ago for Thanksgiving. Last year I wanted to try a different pumpkin dessert. My & my husbands’ family was not pleased! So, tonight I'll be preparing this cheese cake for tomorrow's Thanksgiving feast. It is FANTASTIC!!

Cyndi's Shrimp Fajitas

My husband and I LOVED these. The only thing I changed was corn tortillas instead of flour becase that's what we prefer. We also topped them with sour cream & guacamole.

Bev's Orange Chicken

I made this last night for dinner. It was just OK. My husband said that it was "different". The finished product was not pretty enough to serve to guests but baking for 45mins made it very juicy and tender. I will won't be making this again.

Sausage Spinach Alfredo Lasagna

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Thank you for a wonderful alternative! My family and neighbors really enjoyed these. I didn't change a thing (other that making the crisscross marks with a fork)and they came out perfect!! I used the small cookie scoop from The Pampered Chef and was able to get 2 dozen cookies. This is my new PB cookie recipe! Next time I'll try it with a chunky PB. :)

Broccoli, Rice, Cheese, and Chicken Casserole

I have made this dish way too many times to count over the past 2-3 years! My family loves it - even my picky niece. When I plated it up for her she asked if she could only take a few bites. I asked her to just try it. Before I knew it she was asking for seconds!! I do make a few changes... First I make regular long grain rice cooked in chicken broth according to package directions. Instead of canned chicken I sauté 2 chicken breasts over med. heat until the juices run clear or left over rotisserie chicken. Fresh broccoli chopped small and microwaved for about a minute, 98% fat free cream of soups and skim milk. I don't add the processed cheese at all but instead top the casserole with mild cheddar cheese. It is more time consuming the way I prepare it but in my opinion, it is better this way!

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

This was SO good! I used light mayo and Bremmel & Brown in place of the butter. The only other change I made was garlic powder instead of the onion powder because I didn't have onion. I can't believe how easy and wonderful this was!! I will make this again.

Simple Ranch Chicken Macaroni Salad

I can not get enough of this salad!! I did make a few changes...I omitted the chicken since I was preparing this to accompany cheeseburgers and hot dogs. I made the directions to serve 16 so the recipe asked for 4 packages of ranch mix. This made me a little nervous so I added only two at first. I changed the green olives to sliced black olives and added sliced carrots. I made the salad the night before and when I checked it in the morning the dressing was slightly thick and I thought it could handle one more package of ranch. I whisked the ranch into 1/2 of milk and this did the trick. Everyone at the BBQ loved it and there was enough for leftovers which made me happy!! I will make this again with my changes as well as main dish and add the chicken (not canned though) to see how it is that way. Thank you for the great recipe!!!

Salmon with Lemon and Dill

This was a very nice and light. I wisked all the dry seasonings with the butter and lemon prior to pouring over the salmon. Half way through baking I based the salmon with the butter mixture and then again right before serving. I will make this again!!

Grandma B's Bean Soup

Growing up my mother always made soup or chili in the crock pot on Halloween and I've carried on the tradition ever since. I made this last year and we all loved it. I was a little leery about shredding the carrots and dicing all the rest of the vegetables. I was always taught to cut large chunks for the crock pot. I follow the directions as written and was glad I did. I will make this again this year for Halloween and can't wait!!

Chicken Enchiladas II

I actually made this for the first time last week for two of my girlfriends - one who has a brand new baby and the other who's on bed rest @ 32 weeks pregnant. I didn't make extra for us. Not sure why?! Both of my friends raved about them and asked for the recipe. I just had to try it. I made them for dinner last and we all loved it! This is a keeper! YUMMY!!

Spanish Rice II

This was just OK. I found that with the amount of water and the can of tomatoes there was too much liquid which lead to a longer cook time which lead to mushy rice. I guess I could try to alter next time but I wasn't pleased with the dish as a whole. I will not try this one again.

Kathy's Easy Chile Chicken and Rice

This was tasty with a few changes… I cooked the rice ahead of time in chicken broth. Doing this, there was plenty of liquid with 1 can of soup and 1 c milk. I cooked the chicken over medium heat in a skillet until the juices ran clear then cut into small bite size pieces. I substituted frozen corn for the peas (peas didn't make sense to me in this dish). I only added 1/2 of the green chile and added a can of black beans, rinsed and drained well. Upon others suggestions, I added about 1/2 package of taco seasoning mix. I will make this again!

Garlic Red Potatoes

This was a wonderful recipe! The lemon was so light and refreshing. The only thing I changed was I quartered the potatoes, mixed all the ingredients in a plastic bag, added the potatoes, tossed, then added the parm cheese and tossed again before pouring into the dish. I covered and cooked at 375 for 30 minutes, uncovered and cooked an additional 30 minutes more. My husband really enjoyed them as well. I will make these again!
